So, anyone who has played a large part of PFS adventures knows that demons are a large enough part of the usual enemies.
So in banishment it says if you can present an object they hate/fear/oppose, then you increase your DC and ability to get past their SR. (Rare giving +2/4)
What items do I need for each of the demons? Is there any source book that actually spells it out? What counts as rare?
I have a summoner who wants to pick that for his 5th level spell and need a good laundry list of items he should buy to be more effective.
Specifically I'm looking at the below as the others are completely inconsequential or just not worried about.
Babau
Balor
Glabrezu
Hezrou
Marilith
Nalfeshnee
Kalavakus
Vrock
Thanks

As far as I know, it's not spelled out in a handy chart somewhere. Items that damage them (holy water, a weapon that defeats their DR, a demon bane or evil outsider bane weapon) and symbols or holy texts of deities who oppose them are usually good-a cold iron symbol of Iomedae or Asmodeus would usually be good. Beyond that, I would think it needs to be setting or individual specific. In the worldwound, a banner if the mendevian crusade might work. If it we're a rare magic banner or a specific banner carried in a battle where that demon or his master suffered a significant defeat, I'd give you the rare bonus. If the Balor in question lost a claw in battle with an ancient paladin, I'd give the rare bonus for a relic from that paladin's tomb or the sword wielded by that paladin (whether or not it can defeat theBalor's DR without the paladin's smite evil). That paladin's coat of arms would be an object the Balor hates but not a rare one.
If you want a generic banishment kit, holy water, a collection of holy symbols of various materials, a banner of the mendevian crusade, and maybe some earth from Celestia or elysium if you can get it are probably going to be the cheap options. If you are willing to spend money or have a party member who happens to carry one, an arrow of demon slaying or greater demonslaying, and holy cold iron or evil outsider bane weapons seen like your best bets. You could also try knowledge skills to learn facts about particular demons but that is unlikely to do much good unless you know in advance and have a chance to gather or make items based on what you learn.

The inside-back cover of the Demon Hunter's Companion has a little more than a quarter page on a similar subject titled "Anathema to Demons."
This is specifically in regards to interrogating conjured demons, but there's a line that would likely be helpful:
In general, a spellcaster must make a successful knowledge (planes) skill check (DC 10+ the demon's CR) to figure out what type of anathematic substance works on a particular type of demon to better secure it's cooperation.
For instance, covering a magic circle with rock salt that's been blessed is anathema to Babau. For a Glabrezu, it's fusing magic circle with zone of truth. Some are additional spells while some are actual material components. Apparently, Nalfeshnee don't like counterfeit coins and costume jewelry.
