So have a kobold build that kinda works. Using a Lasher Tail weapon he gets a reach. Casting Enlarge Tail he adds 5 ft to it. Two questions the first is could he use both a ranged weapon and his tail in one attack. Second question is what would the penalty be-5?
I believe the Long Lash tail attachment is a Light Weapon so it can't be used as a Secondary Natural Attack with the -5 penalty. It's either the Long Lash or the ranged weapon, not both.
My mistake. Reread it. Still the build is solid for a kobold and having the tail weapon would be useful. Someone tries to jam him up for using a ranged weapon then smack a tail lashes out smacking the target.
