Odd cleric or oracle build help

Advice

hello all. I am currently building a channeler of the unknown (Who has the unhinged mind ability from the elder mythos cultist) for a campaign in which my character would have amnesia (hence the unknown part) my question is this, would this idea be more properly realized as an oracle? or should I stick with cleric?

thanks all

Either could work! Off the top of my head, Dark Tapestry mystery and Shattered Psyche curse fit well for an oracle, with the Defy Madness trait and eventually Dreamed Secrets feat.

Alternatively, you could go for an amnesiac (yes, it's an archetype) psychic with the abomination discipline.

Was about to post the psychic archetype myself. It's very weird, but quite powerful if you know what situational spells are on the psychic list.

The amnesiac is certainly interesting, though I think I want to stick with divine caster. I love cha based casters and the idea of channeler of the unknown is really cool to me, but part of me feels like an oracle may be more fun from a gameplay perspective if not a roleplay one . between the two classes the channeler has channel entropy which captures my whimsy and attention, but the oracle gets a lot of cool goodies with dark tapestry or maybe heaven (flavored as more of the void) I'm really at an impasse as for which I should choose. for reference the rest of the party (well...the other party member...) is an inquisitor taking the spellbreaker archetype

Tragically the Elder Mythos Cultist actually is much less effective than even a vanilla cleric who worships GOO/OGs!
