I havent been able to find an answer for this does anyone know? They're a product of the mages imagination, have eidolon evolutions and if killed reappear the next day at 1hp. So do they heal like an Eidolon e.g. needing the eidolon specific healing spells or do they heal normally e.g. cure wounds and recovering hp over time?

Are they constructs? Otherwise I'm pretty sure they would heal as if they were biological.

They're a gray area. The fluff states . . .
Figments are born from their masters’ imaginations rather than being ordinary creatures that are awakened.
and
If a figment ever strays more than 100 feet from its master or enters an antimagic field, or if a figment’s master is unconscious or asleep, the figment disappears until the next time its master prepares spells or regains her spells per day. Because it is a being of its master’s mind, a figment can never serve as a witch’s familiar, a shaman’s spirit animal, or any other spell-granting familiar, and it can’t use any divination spells or spell-like abilities the base creature has.
Then at higher levels they get a small pool of points to allow some Eidolon evolutions. So they're sort of a mental projection the question is how real they are when projected and whether they'd be under as responses here indicate normal healing rules or if they'd be under Eidolon healing rules, they wouldn't at least be under construct or undead healing rules.
If a Figment Familiar takes damage but doesn't die, just deal the remainder of it's HP and wait a day.
That wouldn't work since if they're killed they return with 1 hp not full unless you house rule it.

Do figment familiars keep their Con scores?
What are "eidolon" healing rules? Last I checked standard magical healing worked for them.
They do not heal normally...
A summoner can summon his eidolon in a ritual that takes 1 minute to perform. When summoned in this way, the eidolon hit points are unchanged from the last time it was dismissed or banished. The only exception to this is if the eidolon was slain, in which case it returns with half its normal hit points. The eidolon does not heal naturally. The eidolon remains until dismissed by the summoner (a standard action). If the eidolon is sent back to its home plane due to death, it cannot be summoned again until the following day.
Lifelink
Starting at 1st level, a summoner forms a close bond with his eidolon. Whenever the eidolon takes enough damage to send it back to its home plane, the summoner can sacrifice any number of hit points. Each hit point sacrificed in this way prevents 1 point of damage done to the eidolon. This can prevent the eidolon from being sent back to its home plane.

Less flippantly: They heal the same way any other creature does, barring any text stating otherwise. As long as they exist, they heal normally. As long as they don't exist, they don't. Eidolon rules aren't really relevant here.
Edit:
Do figment familiars keep their Con scores?
Of course.

Cure Light Wounds is not natural healing, so it works just fine on Eidolons, as far as I can tell.

I don't believe that it does they have their own series of healing spells like constructs do e.g.
Rejuvenate Eidolon, Lesser
School conjuration (healing); Level summoner/unchained summoner 1
CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (a drop of your blood)
EFFECT
Range touch
Targets eidolon touched
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no
DESCRIPTION
By laying your hand upon an eidolon, you cause its wounds to close and its form to solidify. This spell cures 1d10 points of damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +5).
Note that this specifies Eidolon touched and the descriptive text is different to normal healing spells.
I answer this because I'm happy with the figment familiars heal naturally so the thread can be derailed.

The eidolon specific spells are there to keep the summoner from being a full time healer. It also means the actual healer doesn’t feel like he needs to spend resources on the eidolon, since the summoner can do it himself.
Bah divine casters have niche protection in being the only classes to get proper healing spells let them spend their time and resources healing up the Eidolon. Its their job to cure injured party members otherwise give me an arcane heal spell and I'll do it.
