playing with some Friends who well are ok tend to never be ready when we start our first Mission . Nomrally we have to help them pick out items and finish the builds up
my idea is to have a small list of items (With out power gaming to much cause all 3 don't like the idea of optimizing (they think it takes away Role-play Experience)
The character are
1: Samasaran Arcanist (white mage) who focues 95% on Support magic
2: Gnoll Babrbain wants to wield a great AXE
3: Tengu Skald Not sure what weapon she wants
Level 3 so 3000 gp
can i get some advice for items to help my friends?

Are these people hoarders? Meaning if they get consumables will they use them when they come up, or will they always save them for a rainy day?
Anyway, #2 is going to get a +1 greataxe and some armor (likely masterwork), hopefully a backup missile weapon, maybe the barbarian's kit and that will be most of it. An emergency potion of cure light wounds might be worth having.
#1 will likely want extra spells for their spellbook. It depends how your GM is doing this but worst case that means a bunch of scrolls or a premade spellbook. Non-hoarders may want alchemical remedies, hoarders may want a healer's satchel.
#3 is a case of not enough data. Some hint as to what they want to do is necessary.

1. Cloak of resistance +1, Pearl of power 1, wand of cure light wounds, several scrolls of enlarge person and protection from evil.
2. +1 greataxe! Some armor and a potion of cure moderate wounds. You want to wield a greataxe, wield the best greataxe you can!
3. Masterwork weapon. Cloak of resistance +1. +1 armor. Scroll of haste for when you run into a really tough fight.

They aren't really that expensive, but may I put a word in for spring-loaded wrist sheaths?
Optimizer's refer to them as "Discount Quickdraw". I just use their proper given name, which is "Awesome".
Also, while this might not work for some tables, you can have a party treasury/treasurer rather than entirely individual wealth. If people don't keep track of stuff, the guy who's best at it can cover everyone else. Also, another benefit is that while all characters fight better on a larger budget, but some classes are more "Batman" and others are more "Superman".
