Partner Authorization Token not working

Website Feedback

Grand Lodge

I've been having issues with linking to Fantasy Grounds (Smiteworks). It won't pull my current purchases. I generated a new token in my Paizo account, but am receiving a "Token not valid" error. Not sure if this is an issue on Paizo's end, Smiteworks's end, or the way you're talking to each other.

Thanks for the note, jmspencer. We're aware of this issue, are in contact with Smiteworks about it, and hope to have it resolved shortly.

Same issue here with Hero Labs, Fantasy Grounds and Roll20.

Partner authorization should now be working across all platforms. Thanks for your patience.

I just installed d20Pro and am getting the same error described here. I've tried the token with and without the spaces but just won't synch.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hey, Lilbigjohn.

After attempting to reproduce your issue with D20Pro, I've found that they seem to be making some fundamental errors in the way they're trying to poll our service - such that getting a "Token not valid" error shouldn't even be possible.

Are you receiving an error message with that exact phrasing ("Token not valid"), or are you just unable to sync with D20Pro?

Either way, we'll be reaching out to Mesa Mundi to try to correct their strategy for polling our API. Thanks for the heads up!

The error that comes up is "Unable to validate paizo token.

Unexpected character ('<' (code 60)): expected a valid value (number, String, array, object, 'true', 'false' or 'null')
at [Source: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"><html><head><title>301 Moved Permanently</title></head><body><h1>Moved Permanently</h1><p>The document has moved <a href="https://paizo.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MesaMundiIPETest.woa/wa/Products/ValidateToken">here</a>.</p></body></html>; line: 1, column: 2]."

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem. Fantasy Ground says "Unable to authorize account". Could you please help me with this?

Cheers,
marthoff
