Hello, I was wondering if Paizo would be running 2-00 at Paizocon 2020. I believe that the new specials for SF are supposed to debut later at Origins, so there wouldn't be a conflict, but I also know 1-99 didn't run at Paizocon 2019.
Is it going to be different now different because 2-00 can be replayed once per tier? I would like to play it again, if possible.

They have not run a SF special the past two years at PaizoCon, but last year Arc Riley organized three tables of 1-99 during the PFS special. If there is enough interest we can see about running 2-00 this year.
I have run it 6 times this year and have multiple sets of maps and prep material, so we just need the GMs and players!
Folks interested in GMing or playing please post here, along with the level you are interested in playing. Last year there was just enough for 3 tables so I would want enough confirmed interest before organizing for sure.

Well, I'm the OPer, so obviously I'm interested. I don't think I'll be able to run, but I desperately want to play my level 4 scoured stars veteran in this.
Depending on when it fell and other factors I'd be interested in running a table of it, if not otherwise detained.
After the holidays, the organizing committee will be discussing the schedule for PaizoCon. My initial notes do not include 2-00 Fate of the Scoured God, but it can certainly be considered. I have made a note of it. Thank you for the suggestion. Happy New Year!

I'm playing at Con of the North as well, assuming we get GMs. I played in the 5-8 tier at Skalcon, am playing 9-12 at CotN, and hopefully 1-4 at Paizocon with my Scoured Stars Veteran if we can get tables in order.

I am running this special next month for the 7th time. If it does not get run at PaizoCon I will look to running it during the PFS special if there is enough interest and my health holds out until late May (still in question). That would be the 10th special I need towards my 5th Nova (assuming Arc finally records two I did for him ...)

I hope your health does hold up, and also that we can put some tables together for the Starfinder special, since there's no way I'll be roped into Pathfinder.

Jeez, that's quite a feat.
Also suggests the 10 specials count is just a grind - and by making the call that 1-00 doesn't count as a 'special' towards nova count demonstrates the only way to get to 10 is to grind Multi-tables.
I really hope they fix this.

We have this scenario on the schedule, but since it has had an entire year to be run regionally and it was offered at Origins and Gen Con last year, we don't know if there will be enough interest to keep it. PaizoCon does draw some of our most experienced and eager players so its possible most have already played it.
We will be watching ticket sales closely once the registration system opens and if their is little to no demand, we'll replace it with other offerings.

Ah this is great news for me! I wouldn't mind playing it for a second time after mostly just running it!
Update. We have decided not to offer this special at PaizoCon online, this year.

Thankfully I was able to play this special at Cosmic Crittercon 3 and no longer need to play it at Paizocon.
