Ioun Trainer

Polyhedron Stone
Normally a character can only control one Ioun stone monster per charisma bonus point. These stones are clear, 20 sided, polyhedrons. There are 3 command words. Capture/return, Summon forth, and free. To capture a monster it gets a will save of DC15+Wisdom bonus of the stone wielder. An Ioun Monster regenerates like a full night's sleep every hour in it's stone. They also get a new saving throw vs any condition +4 every hour. While out of the stone, reaching 0 hit points, even non lethal, returns them to the stone. For the purpose of this item, a monster is not an object, hazard, or normal humanoid. An ogre has monster hit dice. A normal goblin has only warrior, character, hit dice. An ogre with some added barbarian hit dice is still a monster. Note that certain monsters will wave the save if defeated in a certain way. A sphinx will only submit to a trainer who answers their best riddle. Monsters can carry any objects they have equipped into their stone. A fire mephit could have a bandoleer full of Molotov cocktails ready to throw.
These class items are 10,000 gpv mostly for non trainers.

Cursed: A cracked stone will leak personality traits into the person who claimed the stone. Thus if there is a mummy in it, the owner of the stone will develop mummy’s touch and will start to track down the things looted from the tomb.

Share Spell(Including Personal Spells): At 1st level can only share spell effects with one "pet" at a time.
Monster training: Can train any monster, except humanoids with only character levels, like they train animals. Using SU and spell like powers count as tricks.
Level Up Monsters: The trainer can change their monsters into stronger monsters with a ritual, up to the dice or DC of the trainer's level.
Steamroller: The trainer selects one pet and casts any spells on them in sequence. Thus during the first round they could cast shield from memory and enlarge from a wand. They cast it on themselves, but the effect happens to the pet.
Magic Attack: All natural attacks are +1 or more to hit and damage.
Remote Mode: They can see and hear out of one of their pets. The range is anywhere on the same plane, but it ends if they are forced back into their stone. Trying to put them into a bag of holding or a mirror of entrapment will also force them back into their stone.

Artifact Polyhedron Stone
Only an Ioun Trainer level 20 or up can create one of these. An over 20 cr such as a Kaiju can be captured and possibly controlled. It must be cut from a diamond, an ioun trainer only gets one free upon reaching 20th level.
Destruction: It can only be destroyed by an epic monster. If the monster is bound to the stone, it is destroyed as well.

It seems you've brought pokemon to Pathfinder.

Yes, and Card Captors, Yugioh, Dinosaur king, ect.

Planar Level Up: The pet gains a hit dice and a planar attack. That can be smite against opposed alignments, or an elemental damage bonus. Note pure neutral is not really an outer plane. Elemental damage is 1D6 of the chosen element, and 3D6 on a crit. Earth- ice(your homebrew might vary). Water-Acid. Air-Lightning or Sonic. Fire-Fire. Each creature may choose only 1 planar level up. A hell hound cannot smite. A fire mephit cannot add lightning. A red dragon can learn the spell lightning bolt.
Add template: Now any template can be added, such as humanoid or aberration. Like the other level ups the monster gains a hit die and possibly gets larger. If the template and or type conflict, the original type is replaced instead.
Merge Monster: The number of monsters share hit points, ability bonus points, and powers. Note ice and fire monsters cannot merge. If defeated or recalled, they separate and return to their separate Ioun stones.
