Writing my own campaign in 2e - is that cool?

Advice

So I've decided to convert and rewrite my unfinished campaign in 2e instead of 1e. That's fun and whatever but if/when I finish it, can I distribute it online? Not planning on selling it, but as far as I know 2e isn't open gaming licence like 1e.

To reiterate, I'm lucky enough not to need supplemental income but I'd like to be able to share the completed work with now then just my local friend group.

Any thoughts?

As I understand it, PF2 does in fact have an OGL, albeit a slightly divergent one from PF1.

You'd need to check the exact details and make sure your boilerplate is correct if you're really worried (though for something free I don't think that's necessary), but from stuff the folks at Paizo have said I think you're good to go.

Thank thee!

I wouldn't worry about it. Worst case scenario Paizo's lawyers will send you a letter telling you to knock it off or be sued.
