This is an interesting spell, gets good when heightened to 4th level. Have many people used this spell in game? What are some creative uses of this spell besides casting this on my front liner to go ham on the enemy caster.
Bonus question if I cast this on our raging Barbarian and he's 25ft away from me (the Bard) can he still benefit from my Inspire Courage?

Page 99 sidebar specifies that verbal component compositions have to include an auditory performance, somatic components use a visual performance, and those traits tie to the composition. So Inspire Courage, using a verbal component, requires an auditory performance and has the auditory trait, so it can't benefit someone in the area of silence.
