Place Your Order -- not working

I have been attempting to place an order for 2nd edition, and I get almost all the way through. However, once I get to the place your order section, when I press the button it only gets the working icon for a few moments or seconds, before disappearing and leaving me on the same page. Once or twice it has gotten to the point where it asks for a security code, but when it gets that far, it will do the same thing after attempting to continue

I've tried several different cards, my main debit and credit cards, and I've checked my address with what is now on file, and what is on file with my bank, and they both appear to be identical

I do not know what is preventing me from going forward, at this point I want to make sure it gets resolve, but I am tempted just to buy from fantasy grounds, then claim my free PDF, as that would be far easier than going through your main store page at this point :P

I also have the same problem when I attempt to purchase the Beastiary for Second Edition (PDF), if this problem can be fixed it would be great

Same issue. Two cards, different books, changed devices and browsers, the result is all the same. Could buy products on old website, after the update can't do it for a year already.


Same thing is happening to me. Be aware, it IS charging your credit card, you are just not getting credit for it from Paizo. I contacted my bank to see if the problem might be with my card, and it appears the 11 times I tried all billed my card $14.95 for the PDF I wanted. However, the item is still in my cart, and I have received no response from Paizo to my e-mail request for help. In addition, dialing their help line results in a VM that says their mailbox is full. Paizo, you need to fix this. Not happy at all.

Same issue, except I was charged for $0 for a PFS Rulebook subscription. It does not show up in my subscriptions, nor can I download the PFS versions. Not happy.

Hello jybil178,

Your cart indicates that your card or shipping information contained "invalid data". I noticed that your shipping address appeared to contain only your name. If this was an order for physical books that's certainly what would stop the order. Even for digital books, the system could think that it can't proceed if an attached address has such erroneous fields. With the current state of things after the initial issue, I'm unable to ascertain other complications that happened.

Hello Shango,

Your problem is not the same. Your card was declined because it did not pass the Address Verification System (AVS) check. This indicates that there is a discrepancy between the billing address entered for the card on Paizo.com and the billing address your bank has on file for the card. Please ensure that all of the information entered for the payment method is accurate and then try to submit the order again.

The transactions you are seeing are not charges. They are authorizations or holds, which occur each time our card processor is asked to contact your bank to check if the card is good. When this happens, many banks choose to put a hold on the funds for the expected charge. However, because your card was declined, we cannot finalize these charges. Authorizations typically reverse a few days after they appear, when your bank chooses to release the funds.


Hi Sam,

I have a similar problem, nothing hapens when I hit "place your order". Tried 2 different browser just in case. Also I used my usual card and my address didn't change.

Could you take a look at that?
