So, I realy realy wanto to play a Investigator sometime but I'm struggling to think of ideas for the character itself (Not the build) so I decided to ask here if people here could tell me a bit about their investigator characters?

"In the Inner Sea justice system, eldritch offenses are considered especially heinous. In Thrushmoor, the dedicated detectives who investigate these unspeakable crimes are members of an elite squad known as the Sleepless Detective Agency. These are their stories."

Silver Crusade

Here's the background for my Tiefling Investigator for Curse of the Crimson Throne:

Aesara was born Carina Maria Rosala to a well-to-do Westcrown family. She seemed to be a normal human child, who happened to be exceptionally intelligent. She was received a good education, studying literature and introductory philosophy. When she went through puberty, however, everything changed. She started growing horns and a tail, as the fiendish heritage of one of her ancestors asserted itself. A family disgrace, she was largely confined to the family estate.

When she came of age, Aesara ran away from home, eventually settling in Korvosa, where the discrimination towards Tieflings was not quite as bad as in Cheliax. She survived through a series of low paying manual labour jobs. While employed as a dock worker, on her own initiative, she managed to solve a mystery surrounding cargo theft. Through word of mouth, she was contacted for the occasional personal or business investigation, which she conducted in her spare time.

Eighteen months ago, she left her job as a dockworker and went into business as a full time Private Investigator. She plays upon people's prejudices by insinuating that she has underworld contacts that give her access to difficult to find information. Two months ago, she was contacted by the Marras family. Their son Paulo, age 9, was abducted while their nanny was taking him on a trip to the market. She has been working on this case tirelessly since then.

Ja'lin Silverblade was more than just an Investigator, he was a devoted Archeologist that used much more than his bardic knowledge and inspiration to solve the puzzles and riddles he often encountered... He relied on the most fickle powers known to exist, Luck. He was a Sleuth of a character, able to deftly dodge spells and traps that targeted those of slow reflexes and, when the going got tough, he could Run Like Hell.

Through Daring, he accomplished his deeds. Through mimicry, he learned the fighting styles of others, and molded himself into a jack of all trades. Able to rise to nearly any challenge, he was still most reluctant to endanger his friends and relatives through his antics. Often he went in disguise, never revealing his true identity. For Ja'lin was a Legend in the spoken word, but his real name was his and his alone.
