I know the folks who have this monstrous tomes would probably prefer to not damage their books trying to print sheets and we are only 10 days out from the release of the book.

Addendum: Is anyone else experiencing a glitch with the site when you try to come to the second edition forum or refresh the second edition forum and get rerouted to the Paizo main page?

Yeah that's happening to me pretty frequently, actually. Yep it seems like almost everything on the site redirects to the main page. I sent in an email to the webmaster asking them to check on it. I am just getting back into gaming after a long absence and my closest gaming store is starting a Pathfinder 2 campaign after the official release date and I am just trying to get some more information before we start. I have been trying to get more information on the Pathfinder society and keep getting redirected also. very frustrating.

I bet that the PDF character sheets won't be released till Aug 1st as with the other PDFs. In the meantime, I am just using google docs... Not ideal for me but oh well.

Yes, add me to the lists asking for an editable pdf character sheet. Ever since my stroke last year I have a hard time writing, so I only use editable character sheets for all my games, and I'd love to see how much has changed from the playtest sheet.
Also, I too was being redirected to the main page when I clicked on a topic, and I emailed the webmaster about it as well. Looks like they have fixed that part.
I agree. People who have the books shouldn't be bending the spines so soon to make CS copies.
Having the basic sheets available would be a nice gesture.

We are working on getting the character sheets ready to be uploaded as soon as we can. I'll try to track down a more precise timeframe.

Since it involves several other departments I'm not making any guarantees, but it looks like we're aiming by the end of this week.

We start shipping a bit early in order to make sure that we get our subscriber copies out the door by the release date, some folks, particularly those who's orders went out at the beginning of our shipping window are seeing their orders arrive.

Folks, the sheets will be coming very soon, just waiting for a few last minute things before we put them up here on the site. As a note, I do not think we have set aside the time to make a form-fillable sheet just yet. I will make sure that gets bumped up on the to-do list.

My handwriting has become almost illegible since my stroke last year, and even I have trouble reading what I wrote. But I still love to play RPGs, I'm just having to find new ways of doing some things.

I've seen some really excellent digital options. We probably won't see those until the game drops for real, of course.

Not the prettiest thing but I've at least made sure it prints well on a4

I've started making characters using an excel notebook to keep track so I can transition to sheets.... So many options... So many options....

Would you be okay with people modifying the pdf for A4 sizes and releasing it to the forum? (Throwing it into illustrator and adjusting vector values is my plan)

My handwriting is nearly illegible and I don't even have an excuse. I love form-fillable PDFs that I can print and bring to the table.

Going to be using Fantasy Grounds as a tabletop aid, myself.
Anymore, between my players' 3 yr old kids constantly storming the table to grab the miniatures or dice, and the same people always getting everyone's attention to witness the natural 20 sitting there that they already rolled... I'd just as soon have beautiful digital maps and virtual dice rollers that appear on everyone's screen.
I love old school (been playing since '84), but sometimes it is too much.
