STS: Kind of burnt out on it now after several attempts with no progress Still stuck at 10 10 18.

Made a Philippines inspired dish. Biztek bowl. Marinated steak in a lemon garlic soy sauce and onion. served with rice and spinach. Pretty good. I think the trick is the meat has a lot almost to much flavor the rest of it not so much so you kind of have a small bit then fill up on the sides makes it stretch longer. I think that is a common thing for Philippine dishes from what I'm told.

Ascension 9 completed with Watcher.

As for burning out on the game, I totally get that. I was getting really frustrated before Watcher became available. Now I'm working on that and getting interested in going back to the others soon.

STS: Yeah That's probably how it's gonna be for me. the last 8 or so runs I've tried didn't even make it to the 2nd boss. The watcher looks super interesting. Until they release her on console I'll probably take a break.

Scarab Sages

Went out for dinner tonight.

For sides we had: crispy wok-fried cauliflower coated in firecracker sauce mixed with red and spring onions, garnished with fresh ginger.
Crispy fried squid balls, drizzled with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise. finished with aonori and bonito flakes.

And as a main I had ramen: korean beef brisket, served on a bed of noodles in an extra rich chicken broth. topped with half a tea-stained egg, menma, kimchee and spring onions. finished with coriander and chilli oil

I don't like cauliflower but I do like firecracker sauce. I also really like Kimchee which is the only stuff that counts as fermented vegetables that I care for. I need to find a place that serves Sukiyaki. I want to try it so bad.

Ascension 10 completed with Watcher. I think I might switch back to one of the others for a bit.

Feel like you could get further without to much effort for her. Because I don't feel like getting silent or iron past 10 will be an easy task.

I feel like Ironclad is really simple, provided you get the Entrench, Barricade, Body Slam combo. You could use Rampage instead of Body Slam, even. Frankly, if you get Barricade and Entrench, you should be able to build infinite armor and then just use whatever attacks you have to whittle down your opponent. It might be slow and boring, but it works.

The one I wanted to try for iron clad was the minimal sized deck. You get the one that does 5 give you and energy and draw and a card that gives vulnerable and the you just spam till you win. You just have to get rid of almost every other card in your deck. living long enough to set it up seems to be the hard part.

So they got though the big super dungeon. The main boss was a psionicst who basically attuned his psi crystal to the giant multi-dimensional crystal that powered the dungeon (This is a floating dungeon that exists on multiple planes and creates gates basically as needed.) He had an infinite psi pool so it made things very interesting. The finally decided that getting him away from the big crystal was the way to go. The rogue managed to make i'm impressive 35 stealth check and decided to climb the crystal to get the original goal to see if that helped. IT in fact did by ending the dungeon run and teleporting them all to the loot room. That's all they know so far.

The whole room is in an anti-magic field and there's no way to escape. Right?

They weren't high enough level to teleport or plain shift out. but yes the crystal would have stopped them but it wasn't anti-magic. The psion was basically just hanging around farming xp and loot from adventurers as they came out.

The next part the crystal is going to explode and scatter around their world and they will be encouraged to retrieve the pieces I'm going to be using it as an excuse to throw in elements of pretty well every game I've ever ran or played in.

You know I'm not one for pop music normally but this Dance monkey song is quite catchy.

The Exchange

Anyway I gained 5 lbs over Chinese New Year with all that pigging and failed to pull up today (probably because I am a fat @ss), and have 20k to run this Sunday. Wow. Hauling my sorry bum around is going to be...interesting ^^

Surprisingly no issues with monkey bars, I swung hand over hand, turned, went the other way without falling off.

Also-strangely enough despite my lack of practice over Chinese New Year (only climbed one day, did 100 burpees the next day, and 100 squats 80 push ups and 75 reverse crunches on another day), I did better in the weights room, doing my full quota without any unwanted breaks(like in the middle of the set).

Also, is there anything about gaining muscle mass and fat at the same time? Then later how do I cut the fat without losing muscle mass? (Yes, I am doing strength training, weights in the gym and a twice weekly rock climb)

I Think just a good protein intake mort. As long as you are working out and not starving yourself I think you won't have to worry as much about muscle loss. as far as I know! As far as your increased performance maybe the time off working out gave your body time to heal up more and now your muscles are stronger from it.

Trying to think what I want to cook for dinner tomorrow.

I want fajitas.

Hmm I could make Fajitas... I like to do steak and chicken occasionally chorizo. I marinate the steak in chicken in orange lime and lemon juice. with a few fajita spices. I've recently been making the shells myself which are a lot better but I'm not sure I want to go to that much effort. ofcourse their is onions and peppers involved to.

You marinate the steak in chicken? That's weird, but you do you.

Steak marinated chicken or chicken marinated steak. Their both pretty tasty.

The Exchange

Steak marinated chicken =P

Lol I do marinate them together but they get cooked well enough to not have to worry about cross contamination.

Got tired of losing with Silent, so switched back to Watcher. Beat Ascension 11.

Do you marinate your chicken fried steaks? How about your steak grilled chickens?

Thought I 19 yesterday with a ice claw deck. Got to third stage had black star some good synergy. Hit the mini boss who summons all the knives. Despite having 30+ armor she summoned an extra set of knives first round then they did my full hp the next round.

I don't like chicken fried steal. I don't think steak grilled chicken is a thing? Although maybe just grilling a chicken like you would a steak? Eh you'd probably get salmonella.

Yeah, she sucks.

What peasants ate

This ought to be fun. Pizza guy just showed up and said "You expecting a team? I got an order for 22 pizzas for here." We do have a team in house, there is no bus in the parking lot right now like I would expect, so maybe. But no one told me anything. So, either the coach (or whoever) didn't bother to tell 2nd shift that they were coming in late and would have food delivered here, or 2nd shift knew and just didn't bother to tell me. Either way, I've got a driver with 22 pizzas sitting in my lobby waiting for the team to come back from their game. At 1:10 am. This could very much suck.

Well, they weren't as bad as I was afraid of. And they gave me some pizza. So, I guess they're ok.

Takoyaki.

No, there was no octopus on the pizza.

Although that might work with the right kind of sauce....

Fortunately for us Dominoes is right across the street so we have an easier time communicating with them when groups order large amounts of pizza.

I'm glad they didn't use Domino's. I don't like their pizza. They went with Papa John's, which while not the greatest, is (in my opinion) far better than Domino's.

Twice this morning I was asked the same question (by two different people), gave the same answer, and got the same reaction:

Person: "You ready for the big game?"
Me: "What game?"
Person: *stunned silence* "The Super Bowl."
Me: "Oh. Is that today?" *shrug* "I don't sport."
Person: *more stunned silence* "Oh. Okay."

The second was funnier (to me) since it was the cashier at Walmart asking me and there were all sorts of signs all over the place about "Stock up for the Super Bowl!"

Yeah I knew it was happening but I didn't watch nor care who wins. Someone asked me who I was rooting for and my response as always. I hope somehow they both lose.

Randomly shopping around for car insurance. I was not aware that it could vary as much as it does! Glad I shopped around it was slightly more then a 60 dollar a month differences from the first to the last one I found.

I was amazed.

Just beat Ascension 12 with Watcher, but damn it was close.

I finally beat 11 with silent. That is the only progress I've made I did almost beat 11 with iron clad but I ended up fighting that freaking unfair time snail with a deck that needed to draw a bunch. 19 is too hard..

Friggin' time snail just killed me. If I had like 5 more hp I think I would have won.

Their was no way I was beating that bastich on the last one. Everything was off I had armor when he wasn't attacking and attack when he was. Then ofcourse that lousy turn ender thing.

Alright now for another game of what Should I cook for dinner. hmmmmmmm.

Time snails. Teach those little bastards a lesson.
