Given the treasure found, Dar is considering going sword and board. Or at least taking the equipment if we run into more piercing resistant folks.
So I guess my questions are: does anyone else want the shield and sword? Does it work for someone else better?

Tarvoth |

Sounds like we should rest now!

Turran |

Oof, I was hoping you were going to overlook that, lol....we'll wait until the next rest. Dar, it's fine by me if you want the sword and shield.

Turran |

Here's a spellcraft for the levitation potion, otherwise look for a way up.
spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30

Dardanius |

Mysterious, not sure if you were directing at me. But I guess my point was Dar might use it even if it was mundane. Or are we saying adventurers would know to be cautious in case cursed?

Dog Rotsky |

Apologies, I was away this week and forgot to let y'all know.

Dog Rotsky |

Thought I had posted another climbing post. I think I had pushed preview instead of post...sorry!

Tarvoth |

First 3 episodes of Wheel of Time are up on Amazon Prime video if anyone is interested.

Turran |

I'm full of thanks that you are my friends sirs. Soon I shall be full of turkey...

Tarvoth |

Merry Christmas to you all! Hope Santa was good to you!

Turran |

The gift of friendship is all I need.
Plus, of course, a couple of new dice sets.

Tarvoth |

Happy New Year b@@es!

Mysterious Storyteller |

Hey Team, time for a quick heart-to-heart!
I'm going to need everyone to commit to a post every 24-36 hours moving forward. If that's not in your wheelhouse, let me know and I'll write you out of the story in tremendous fashion.
I'm simply not prepared to continue trying to tell a story using the Chinese water drip torture method. ;-D
I understand 'big life' things. I have a job, personal health (or lack thereof), and family too. There is flexibility for life events, but I'm looking for more focus and commitment moving forward.
No ill will either way.
Thanks in advance,
Your friendly Storyteller

I pretty much keep the campaign gameplay window open on my phone all the time, makes it easy to check what’s going on a couple times a day just by refreshing the page and then posting if it’s my turn.

Dog Rotsky |

SO, google seems torn on this, so I'll ask for the ruling here. I'm at 82HP lost, which is 8 over my Rage-increased Max. But it's 20 over my non raged Max. Does going into the dying stage end my rage? Seems like some people say yes, other people say you can continue using rage rounds during dying. Just want to get a proper call since the last heal could bring me up if I continued raging.

Mysterious Storyteller |

A barbarian can end her rage as a free action, and is fatigued for 1 minute after a rage ends. A barbarian can’t enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted, but can otherwise enter a rage multiple times per day. If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends.
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/unchained-classes/barbarian-unchained
Once you fall below 0HP you are unconscious, ending your rage. You lose the rage HP first as temporary HP and if you have negative HP greater than your CON score you die.

Okay, pretty sure I'm dead in that case, since my CON is 15!

3rd Rogue= +1 BAB, +1 will/fort, +1d6 sneak attack, 8 skill points, 8 hp
5th Fighter= +1 BAB, weapon training, 2 skill points, 10 hp
Either way you also get a 7th level feat
What do you want your character to do?
So far it doesn’t seem as if Weed does much rogue stuff except find/disarm traps and you don’t need more levels of rogue to do that.

Weed |

ya my thoughts....i can increase perception....and he seems a weak fighter...i would like to help party by bringing more muscle into the fray....so likely i will go up in fighter
thanks!!

Dar is pretty much ready to go.
Only question I had is if you all had any 2nd level spells to recommend.
I was thinking of something to enhance the smite?
Fire of Entanglement seems neat. Could have been helpful with the "Baron" just now
Righteous Vigor would also be cool, if Dar had a better RNG. Maybe it's more suited to a frontliner?
Any other recommendations?

Litany of Righteousness
School evocation [good, language-dependent]; Level inquisitor 3, paladin 2
CASTING
Casting Time 1 swift action
Components V, S, DF
EFFECT
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target one creature
Duration 1 round
Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes
DESCRIPTION
Calling down a litany of anathema, you make an evil more susceptible to the attacks of good creatures. If the target is evil, it takes double damage from attacks made by creatures with a good aura (from a class feature or as a creature with the good subtype). If the target also has the evil subtype; when it is hit with attacks made by creatures with a good aura, it is also dazzled for 1d4 rounds. If this spell targets a nonevil creature (or one that lacks the evil subtype), it has no effect, and the spell is wasted.
While subject to this spell, the target cannot be the target of another spell that has the word “litany” in the title.
