Do I need to keep track of the negative levels, or are we just skipping ahead for our journey out of the temple of doom?

I suppose I have a similar question about my HP deficit.

Depends on what the party plans to do. If you are going to keep exploring you will need to keep track. If you are going to try and get back through the exit portal, maybe not as much but you still have to make your way back across the desert....

Takes your CON to 13 which is a +1 bonus instead of +2 costing 1 HP/level or 9 HP from your total.

Think I'm all set, unless anyone has a better suggestion for Feat.

I'm leaning toward taking Extra Lay On Hands. But Reward of Life was also a little interesting. I think the most recent fight made me think that we are in need of more healing).

Dardanius still does not qualify for Manyshot (maybe if he makes it to Level 12).

2:
Defensive weapon training (+2 minimum AC boost).
Warrior spirit (kind of like Paladin weapon divine bond)
Weapon sacrifice (channel damage from you to your weapon instead)

Dagor, why is your LoH healing for 5d6? I was interpreting 1d6 for every two levels as 4d6 for a level 8-9 paladin. Am I reading that wrong, or is there a feat I can/should take?

It’s a pretty good feat, I debated taking it or extra LOH, a bit of a toss up.

I did not take the time to do too much thinking about this, but I think you're right. At least at level 8-9

Greater Mercy = Level * 5d6 = 157.5 expected HP (if no conditions)

Extra LoH = Level+2 * 4d6 = 154

No idea if that holds up or how to add in that Extra LoH is basically one use of ~Hero's Defiance~

Thanks for the advice, Dag.

I think I have ~5200 gp leftover. Not sure if I should trade that for something else, or just buy a pearl of power and save. +1 Warhammer?

I'd like advice on shields. I feel like I still don't understand the debuffs a heavy steel shield gives versus a light steel shield. My reading is that the armor check penalty wouldn't apply until I actually equipped the shield. Is that your ruling Mysterious?

In other words, should I spring for mithral here too?

Second, would the heavy shield take longer to don?

Otherwise, here is the list of what I've bought

312 = Mwk Warhammer (now we'll never see another skelly)
20 = Heavy Steel Shield
10,000 = Belt of Physical Might +2 STR & DEX
6,100 = +2 Composite (+4) Bow upgradde

Buy a shield made of darkwood.

Darkwood

Source: PZO1110

HP/inch 10; Hardness 5; Cost To determine the price of a darkwood item, use the original weight but add 10 gp per pound to the price of a masterwork version of that item.

This rare magic wood is as hard as normal wood but very light.

Any wooden or mostly wooden item (such as a bow or spear) made from darkwood is considered a masterwork item and weighs only half as much as a normal wooden item of that type. Items not normally made of wood or only partially of wood (such as a battleaxe or a mace) either cannot be made from darkwood or do not gain any special benefit from being made of darkwood. The armor check penalty of a darkwood shield is lessened by 2 compared to an ordinary shield of its type.

Given how often you should be using a shield you should buy the cheapest one that gives you the best AC bump. Check penalties only apply if equipped.

Darkwood sounds like the right move. I suppose the Darkwood description Dagor/Amarth implies I need to pick a shield that has the "wooden" descriptor.

So I'll go with a Heavy Wooden Shield for 7 + 150 (mwk) + 100 (darkwood) gold.

Mysterious, I was unaware of the Point Blank Master Feat, and I definitely want to take it!

It looks like the prereq would be Weapon Specialization..

But when I looked at that feat, it says the prereqs are "Proficiency, Weapon Focus, Fighter Level 4." I am assuming those commas are conjunctive, but I wanted to get your ruling.

For the record, Dar already has proficiency and weapon focus.

Spaced that it required specialization; sorry!

Yes, it would require 4 levels of fighter.
