Iconic Evolution: Seoni
I don't know why they didn't post the blog, but the video is up on the channel.
TBH, woah! I love the new art! Now she have a good fighting stance. She have a cape to protect herself, while still showing off her tattoos. the new staff is great... :X Also, it's now easier to see that she's blonde, and not white-haired. Better contrasts in her clothes... (that doesn't looks like they might just unravel themselves at any hint of battle damage...)
And that face... oooh! She's angry! o_o

This one is really nice. I still prefer the old style, but this is top notch work within the new style. She looks sturdier than most of the cast which is a bit odd, and the weird leg turns are there for the "A" shaped stance, but her overall detail work looks clearer and the colors look sharper. I'm glad that the stance was changed to something a little more active over the initial sketch we saw which had her posed very limply.

Weird that they put up the video, but didn't have a blog post. Fell through the cracks? Hopefully we'll still get the Encounter.
I like the art on this one. The clothing changes aren't too drastic, but they do nicely cut back on the cheesecake factor while still keeping the bare arms and legs to show off the tattoos.
The cloak makes a bold color contrast as well, which I like.

The thing I like best about it is how Wayne can't pronounce any of the setting names worth a damn ;)
Yes, Seoni is from 'Varsia,' indeed. :)
Still, at what he's good at, art, he's *amazing,* and it's at least as much to do with how obsessed he gets over stuff he's seen from various cultures and areas he's visited (or studied online), as it is his ability to draw.

I like the new art as well.
I'm pleased that my previous prediction about what her clothing changes were based on other art (ie: they really just gave her a cloak) was substantially correct.
To be fair, they also massively reduced the amount of cleavage on display; her top looks like it's actually designed to be functional clothing, instead of something she'd have to constantly worry about it shifting a few inches to the side with disastrous results...
In any case, I love the new artwork. I like it for different reasons than the original; original Seoni looked kind of ephemeral which gave her a nice "wanderer" vibe IMO. The new artwork, on the other hand, just plain looks like I feel bad for whoever that spell is aimed at. And their friends. And their dog. And anyone who sold them pierogi. XD
