Is the players guide going to come out before the release or day of or after 2E releases?
I tried searching a little bit but couldn't find anything on it.
Or will there even be a player's guide? Since this is coming out the same day as the game itself, the campaign rules might simply be to make any legal character from the core rulebook. That is what they did with Starfinder.

They could still introduce campaing specific backgrounds and similar options on a players guide. Which is something that have been speculated in these forums before.
Starfinder is different as there is too many races/backgrounds to even think about doing player guides.
Pathfinder has always had one and I expect this edition to be no different.

Starfinder recently started making player's guides because they now have some fairly extensive rules material beyond the core rulebook. PF2 could do likewise, but I do think I recall reading something about campaign specific backgrounds for this adventure path -- which would virtually require a player's guide.
I never knew Starfinder had players guides now I'll have to check those out.
None of the Starfinder APs published so far had an official player's guide. However, I seem to remember that this might change with an upcoming AP.
We won't be changing the cadence of AP player's guides. The plan at this point is for the Age of Ashes Player's Guide to launch the same day as all the rest of the stuff, I believe.

I can't find any Starfinder AP player guides, so that must be something they announced that hasn't happened yet.
But it is good to know that the Pathfinder AP player guides will not take even a brief hiatus.
