So im playing in a campagin of 4; a cleric, a bard, an Alchemist, and myself a paladin.

My alchemist has focused her build so far on crafting, and while reading up on things to help the party she noticed the holy avenger

she got all excited because at level 13 my equipment is still pretty shit, then she realised that she cant craft it, dm said that i could "help" with the crafting, but i still needed to provide the spell

But uh

Paladins dont really have spells? At least i havent noticed being able to get detect align or dispell?

So as it is its mechanically impossible for one to craft THA?

Well there is ways to cast spells(Multiclass and scrolls with UMD) but yeah. It's impossible for a single person to do it without going out of their way... But it's quite a good weapon otherwise.

I believe in first edition you could forego having the ability to cast the spell by increasing the difficulty of the skill check by 5 (page 549 1st CRB). I do not know if this the same in 2nd edition.
