Woohoo! Definitely looking forward to things. I've got a couple concepts rolling already; I feel like this game is an opportunity to try something a touch unorthodox or wild, fitting into the high-octane supernatural vibes of DMC. Right now I'm torn between someone fighting with an unusual weapon, maybe a spiked chain or a scythe, or going with a full wrestler/brawler type I've been kicking around for a bit. I guess final details remain to be seen.
Without getting too deep into build rules and such, I am curious about the semi-gestalt rules: if you were to make something that violated the no-all-perfect rule, would you just not be allowed to have that class combination, or would you pick something to sacrifice? For example, would a Paladin/Rogue be an illegal choice altogether, or could I take a worse option for one category by choice?
