Optimized Iron-Ring Striker

Advice

I need so options on how to best optimize an Iron-Ring Striker Magus.....

This is a homebrew game, but only paizo material.
20 point buy.
Lvl 6 atm.
As for race, would prefer something human-ish, but would also like darkvision.

The main points need to be effective in AND out of combat, as we are trying for a more roleplaying factor in this adventure, so its not all hack and slash.
Need to be able to perform in social settings..... And i would like to avoid multiclassing as i alrdy have diminished spellcasting....

Feats, items, traits... pls suggest a workable build.

Thxs in advance

Suppose you go for octopus style and its dependent feats, from the same book as iron-ring striker. The basic tactic here is to throw yourself into a group of enemies (preferably with a good defensive spell up) and use the bonus from octopus focus to counter penalties from defensive fighting or from spell combat or whatever. Next level you get spell maneuvers and octopus thrash which have obvious synergy with a multitouch spell involved.

To summarise those feats are dodge (1), octopus style (3), octopus focus (5). Improved unarmed strike and improved trip will be bonus feats. Next level you get octopus thrash.

The only ability requirements for the above are Dex 13 and Int 13 but you're going to want both Str and Con since you won't have a spare feat for weapon finesse. A half-orc might take Str 15+2 race+1 level=18, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 14, Wis 10, Cha 8 or something similar (before items). There are traits like bruising intellect or student of philosophy if you want to dabble in social skills.

Alternately an agile amulet of mighty fists makes a dex build possible. Pushing dex on a kitsune with the keen kitsune alt racial might result in Str 8-2 race=6, Dex 17+2 race+1 level=20, Con 12, Int 14+2=16, Wis 9, Cha 13 before items. The Cha is to support fox shape; feats could run weapon finesse, realistic likeness, fox shape. No native darkvision but all that dexterity makes dex-based skills fun and realistic likeness can make disguise very fun.
