I have all but Azure Abyss and Celadon Shores, which didn't exist when I bought the rest. I'll need to rectify that sometime when I have cash to spare.
So my cat has a recurrent mouth ulcer that we can't seem to get rid of. My regular vet recommended that I take him for a consult at the local university’s Veterinary Dermatology department.
"Ooo!" I said. "I bet they know ALL the ways to skin a cat!"

,,,I'm not a cat person...but I don't find that one that amusing.
But okay
Also my brother's puppy, Conwy has returned to Charleston while he prepares for his move to Athens, Tenn to do a visiting adjunct professor-ship at the local university there. I feel bad for Conwy though...he's not built for that kind of heat or humidity.
Well, had to cut my 'vacation' short a day, to race home trying to beat the eminent danger that is 'Barry'.
Yeah,... I'm glad I did drive through Friday (I got home just after midnight) as otherwise I would have been driving through a $#*% ton of rain,(it is all below us, and to the East of us) but here in Lafayette we're still waiting for the bad weather to get here. :P
Soooo,... getting ready to get back into the grind. (yay?)
How is everyone?
I feel good that because I'm a paladin, fighting evil undead means that as a 12th level paladin, all my weapon damage rolls via smite essentially means I do 24 points a hit.
Also I'm hopeful to recoup some of my spending I had this past week with more work and also means I can buy some 1st edition PF stuff when people start to off load it.
Better, thanks! It won't stop raining, which is usually a trigger for a lot of my pain, but so far today and yesterday I feel much better. Now to get motivated for housework...lol. That's next.
We're still working on the appeal process for insurance to cover an MRI for Aiymi's knee. She's had a torn meniscus before, and she says this feels completely different. Based on her descriptions, I'm still putting money on blown xCL(s).
Oh no. I hope you can resolve that crap soon. Insurance is a racket. I can't believe it won't cover the MRI. Even for insurance companies that propose to offer medical coverage, this is ridiculous.

And it's not like we have sub-par insurance either.

A friend mentioned a deal Noki got with a private medical company on Saturday grill.
Spoiler:
In Poland there are no medical insurance companies as such - if you are employed, retired, registered as unemployed, have own company, or are attending a school at <25 you get public insurance (paid by a small tax subtracted from your earning). Regardless of right to public medical help, you can get a private insurance at specific medical clinic chain, or a company you work for can offer you such as an extra benefit. Basically all corporations do that to make sure their employees are getting medical service faster. So after some issues with the clinic chain they had a contract, which shall remain nameless here, Noki forced a change of contract where, if the clinic chain fails to provide timely service, the Nokia employee can go to any private clinic, take the bill, and have 80% of it returned by the clinic chain that failed to provide the service in time...
Long story short, in the current sociopolitical climate anyone trying to implement that in the US would be deafened by the panicked screams of "SOCIALISM! THE COMMIES ARE GOING TO TAKE OUR JOBS AND CRANK UP OUR TAXES! AAAAAAAAH!!"
Yeah. Long ago, I was strongly in favor of private medical services and opposed to publicly funded medicine until I learned more of "well" that does work in USA...
I too will avoid talking politics even though I'm very much left leaning. Like I might be bent at a 45 degree angle..or even 90. anyways....
So weird coincidence, my latest client has a puppy named Maggie, which was the name of my SECOND dog (but my first female dog)...and I had a heart melt moment when I heard that. Of course this Maggie isn't a border collie puppy nor has she had a litter. So... But it's still something that make me happysadreminancing.

Weird thought: ever notice how in the movies/tv, when the hero backs the car out through the closed garage door and drives off, there's never any damage to the back end of the car? I suspect if I tried it, that would not be the case. :-)
The dog I had growing up was a border collie. He was my best buddy for 12 years.
My second dog...or I should say, second dogs were both border collies...and yeah, they were great for me. So much so my brother go jealous, got himself one AND she lived long enough to see him married.
Now we have Conwy...and I'm just glad he'll probably grow out of puppy-ness. Eventually.
Also I broke one of the end pieces off my glasses...so I'm not happy that I'll probably have to get new glasses...especially since the lens are like 2-3 years out of date...
Ugh. Had to file an insurance claim for my son's phone. The company, Asurion, has a history of screwing me over. Let's hope this time it doesn't happen.
