In the aftermath investigation, we're fairly certain some kind of mental disorder. An IRL doctor on our server DM team theorized Antisocial or Borderline Personality Disorders, though of course those are just professional hunches given the lack of ability for a proper interview.
In either case, neither stops us from needing to help other players feel safe from being harassed, nor does it make our staff the proper source for any kind of professional response or treatment. And given how he's aggressively refused to seek IRL help... Yeah we're at our wits end on this one.

Some times I wonder if my life is just to be filled with other peoples drama just because the universe is intrinsically bored...
Yesterday my friend called to ask me to come with him to go see toy Story 4 with his kids. Of course a) I had gaming then and b) I REALLY didn't want to...but I told him I would try to be over by 7:30 pm.
Gaming was...I wouldn't say mediocre because one of our newer players picked up the greataxe the dwarven quest giver spirit told us to take with him and got ** 2 ** nat twenties in two rounds. Admittedly, it was only against one of the zombie lord minion and not the named zombie lord frost giant...but still! It was also awesome because the axe (in Giantslayer part 4, Tomb of the Giant Queen) went from broken to +1 vorpal.. so heads went pop. :)
But the real downer comes from our other player, who because she and one of our other players broke up (and said player moved out of state because of it...) was less than happy in the beginning and end...so it kind of killed the mood overall.
(That and I feel like the GM COULD have left the last three encounters intact instead of just "There's no one here." ) but that's just me...
Anyways... so that was gaming; I got home, my mom got her facebook account hacked, and thus had to fix that, I helped with getting dinner ready by getting the frozen shrimp thawed and peeled. So it was a nice dinner, but it did mean I didn't finish dinner until at least 7...when I thought I still had a little time...
So after walking my dogs for the evening, I come back, drive over...and my friend calls and tells me he left because the kids wanted dinner (at 7:30...but whatever), and so I waited for him to come back..and he and I..we didn't fight about it...but clearly it was adding to his anxiety which he's been having a great deal of. (Though honestly I feel like he puts WAY to much pressure on himself because of his job even if it is working Internet Services for one of the hospital and their associated networks. )
Anyways...it wasn't the WORST Sunday I've had...but it was far from what I was hoping to be the best before I start on my "August will be slightly crappy in the beginning) along with the fact one of the older couples that goes to my church wants to me to cat sit. The cat sitting isn't the problem...It's just the older couple have always been...tightly wound...and I wonder if I'm heading for trouble because of it...

What possesses people to do that sort of crap?

What grinds my gears? This freaking reality crap I keep waking up to...
Though having dogs helps.
The dogs definitely help. My anxiety issues keep growing, it seems, because I can't stand to be away from them for more than a couple of hours. But when I get back to the house all that goes away in seconds.

I quit watching the news because of all the stress it caused me. I gave up regular television when I realized that trying to keep up with so many shows I enjoyed and falling behind was causing me to have anxiety attacks. My therapist at the time (She's since retired) was really interested in this because I was the first person she had ever encountered with this particular anxiety trigger. I guess I'm special that way...lol.
However, I may try to watch the Arrowverse shows this fall because of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. Maybe.

I have a hard time watching a 10 minute video of anything on Youtube now. Sitting through an hour of television feels like torture now. It took me until this weekend to finish the first season of "Stranger Things", a show I really enjoyed. It'll take me another year to finish Season 2, most likely.
I've found I love long videos on YouTube, because I can put them on at work and blitz through the whole day without having to decide what to watch next every five minutes. I watched a four-hour stream of Dwarf Fortress today for example.

Every day is exactly the same, according to Nine Inch Nails... ;)
Also while I wish there weren't commercials, there are some that are...catchy I guess? Along with being funny.
I would do Youtube more...but for some reason my Chrome Browser won't run it any more... At least the website. Embedded videos still work.
Also I need breaks.

OK, I am officially jealous of Monkey Santa's kitchen. I covet that gas range & oven.
Me too. I read somewhere recently that California (or some cities in CA - SF comes to mind) has or is about to ban natural gas in new construction housing - including, iirc, single family residences. Their stated reason was "to save the environment" or some such drivel. My thought was "oh, look, another reason not to move to California". Idiots.

So I've got Gnoll slavers, an oasis in a box canyon with a magical pool of water that acts as a Charm Person spell on anyone who drinks from it (no one knows anyone is charmed unless they tell them to do something), a ruin that resembles the city of Petra in our world, and that's it. I figure the Gnolls always hope their victims drink from the pool because that makes them easier to capture. I figure the players followed a "planted" map given to them by someone in league with the slavers. But I don't have any fluff, really. This will vex me so I won't be able to sleep for a while, I'm sure. But I'm sure gonna try. Goodnight, everyone.

So in the low-level side campaign that I'm running we have a professionally printed and bound booklet of our house rules. One of my players works for Troll Lord Games in the print shop and put them together, as well as a house rule handbook for our other campaign.
No matter how many rereads and edits one does there is bound to be something left out, and I just discovered that the Unchained Poison rules were absent. So, I sent out an email to tell people to make a note in the back of the book we'll be using them and asking they at least read up on the rules enough to know what's going on if their PCs become poisoned. I get back one positive "you betcha!" type response, some "Ok's", and one "I don't read the rules. I just rely on you" answer. This. This is why I want to strangle players. Or maybe poison them, thus forcing them to experience the effects that I'm trying to emulate with the rules. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Just checking,....
Yep. Still have work to do.
>_<
And yesterday I was 'notified' that I will be holding this years gubernatorial debate on my stage.
Lucky.
Me.
:P
Yeah, this'll be,... fun,...
>_>
<_<
O_o
Well, it will be a different experience than normal.
I mean, how often do I have to deal with multiple people who are more nit-picky than I am? (Other than dance moms. Who dont count)
;P
Sigh,... better get back to pretending to work now.
:)
