Event sign up schedule conflicts question (Ross / Josh)

I am sure I just do nto understand how it works, but.....

I thought I was able to register for 2 or more evets during the same time slots as long as I had them ranked differently? Say X a 4, Y a 3 and Z a 2. Thus if I failed to get into X, I still had a shot of getting into Y and Z. When I try this the system tells me I have conflicts in my schedule and the will not be counted until they are resolved.

Is it correct that we can only sign uo for 1 event per time slot, and if so, what is the purpose of the rankings...

Can you give an example of two specific events you're trying to assign rankings to that's resulting in a conflict? We're not seeing any conflicts when we look at your lottery picks.

As I was going to do this for you I now do not see many of the events I rated a "4" on day 1

Basically everything I rated a 4 is no longer there for me to choose?

The seminars in the Evergreen room all have very large seating spaces (150 seats), so they were not meant to be part of the lottery in the first place, since anyone who wants a seat can get one. There was a bug causing them to be displayed in the lottery list, which has been corrected.

So you shouldn't worry about that, at least.

ok cool! so I will just re do my ratings and then fill in the gaps with seminars (woot!) and Pathfinder Society! thanks guys!
looks like I get all my "4"s!
