Overall, for PC use, I personally have found that the recent updates have added some consistencies and aesthetics that are making the site easier to use (ESPECIALLY more consistent menus from page to page, which the lack thereof was driving me crazy). So thanks for that.

However, for Mobile...

Key issue to report here is that the "Edit my Profile" button appears to be missing on the mobile version, which is problematic for Alias-Profile editing for the purposes of PBPs -- updating hit points lost, etc. etc. This majorly affects PBP gameplay (at least the way I and most folks I know play it). This is for me in Chrome on my Android phone, as well for at least one of my players (not sure of platform/browser).

I also will chime in that in general, I find the "mobile friendly" layout is much more UNfriendly than when it wasn't designed to be "mobile friendly." I vastly preferred having a small site I could adjust the zoom on to focus on areas I wanted to read, than a fixed width that is not especially much more readable AND also seems to have removed important features, like profile editing.

I'm glad to see improvements to the site continue to be made (and woo, playtest download was smoooooth and easy), but the changes for mobile use appear to be problematic at best.

Not sure if this has been reported, but the page is not scaling very well for those of us with sight issues.

Example

As you can see from the example in the link above, the search bar is fixed width fixed position mid page, while the menu bar on the right is fixed width fixed position right align. This results in the menu 'overwriting' the search bar when scaling is used for those of us with sight issues.

The search bar should really try to 'center' itself between the menu and the paizo golem on the left, so that the page continues to be useful for those with visual issues. I don't have this problem on other sites with similar layout.

PS: Hope I got all the site and sight entries correct above, I think I did, but if I reversed one, you know what I meant. :P

Problems I am currently noticing with the web page:

Page is not auto sizing to me screen. It is aligning left and only seems to go up to 1558px (not sure of that number). My Current screen resolution is 3840 x 2160.

I need to right click and "save as" all my downloads, no longer am I getting a pop-up for the downloads.

We need more space between the top of the forums and the drop down menus, every time I go to select a back forum I accidentally go slightly too high and get a drop down instead which is really starting to get annoying.

@Dragnmoon - There's a new little black tab just under the 'Help' menu option. It has an arrow on it. If you click on that, it disables the entire black bar at the top of the page until you click it again. Basically turning the mouse sensitive menus off (and hiding them), so you won't accidentally do that. Just turn it back on when you want to navigate using the menus again.

Unfortunately, for some reason I can't fathom, it doesn't work anywhere except in threads. if it worked across the site, or at least, anywhere in the forums, it would make your life easier. Maybe they can enable it at the forum level instead of the thread level.

@MDT that is part of Oladin tools.

This is a new feature in PCT 2.5.2 -- see here for details. :) As to why it doesn't work everywhere, that's because currently the extension isn't enabled everywhere on the site.

Scarab Sages

While my correct number of tables is showing (100) it is only showing me as a 2-Star GM, including when I download my PFS Card.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize it was not part of the website.

A lot of users are seeing an incorrect number of stars because the system calculated and saved the number from an incorrect tally of GM credits, but the number should be correct anytime it's calculated from scratch. The problem is that this recalculation only happens after reporting a session, so in cases where GM credits are adjusted by other means, the number of stars will not update on its own. We will be making a fix to this bug in a future update.

The mobile website is still too wide, seemingly a static width in pixels that is wider than my screen and does not change when I rotate, thus I see further to the left in landscape than in potrait.

Normally, rotating the screen zooms in/out to match page width to screen width, but that isn't happening here.

I also can't manually zoom. Elsewhere I have limited zoom, being able to zoom closer but not further than the default.

Also, requesting desktop site switches back to mobile site at odd moments, though it always switches back to mobile if I open a link in a new tab. Most other sites keep to the desktop/mobile choice, but for you I have to request it all the time.

The desktop view however lacks the display problems mentioned above for mobile view and also has much better whitespace/margins.

Might be just me, but I find the desktop view to be much better for my mobile than the mobile view. Would be nice if it was more reliable to use.

Its horrible! The black border at the bottom of the screen doesn't stay put and obscures lots of post/information. This is consistent on my computer and on my mobile devices. The badges on the organized play page are HUGE and scrunch everything else on the screen making it very hard to read.

Any word on when the Private Message Alert issue on Movble View will be resolved?

Thanks!

Have to pretty strongly agree. The moble view is really tough to navigate, clunky, and lacking in quite a few features.

Sometimes a thread I posted in will be marked with one unread message, the one I just posted.

Ok, the banner is now gone on Safari (using version 11.1.2), but it's still present in Chrome (using version 41.0.2272.104 ).

Nice work, folks.

It’s been a nightmare to navigate for days now.

The site had a few downtimes in the last few days.

OOC tags on character sheets (Profile) don't appear to be working anymore (i.e., text remains black instead of being turned blue). This was a great feature before, so I'd love to see it come back. Really helped separate elements on a complex character sheet!

To help the finding of the width issue on mobiles, which is still an issue,

I noticed that when a thread page is partially loaded, it is at the correct width, but then as the last parts of the page loads, it resizes (I can even see the text realign to the new width), and it is then that some of the page becomes inaccessable and out of view.

Just noticed that in within my Alias profiles the occ coded text is just appearing as normal black rather than the blue.

Posting seems fine - all the ooc comments/coded text is appearing as it should - just seems to be within alias profiles.

On the one hand I'm glad to see the site issues have abated for the time being (not holding my breath)...

On the other - the ooc blue text coding within Alias profiles is still not working - for me at least.

Cheers

The biggest problem I have is that the filters on the digital download page do not work at all ,even slightly,

I filter for wrath of the righteous I get the Azlanti players guide, I filter for pathfinder AP's amongst other randomness I get starfinder AP's and player companions.

It does make the page almost useless if you have a large amount of stuff and do not want to have to read down line by line to find it as the material is also displayed in a random order,

Actually I am impressed by how random it is , I spend a lot of time with databases and I have trouble randomising this much when I want to

The gap for 4k resolutions is still there.
