It has been quite a while since the blog has posted any information on new miniatures coming out. I am definitely a fan of the new PF2, but I am a little sad that I have not seen any new pictures of what is to come for my battlemat.
Does any Paizo employee have information on new prepainted minis, the date Paizo will start previewing them again, and if any of the new minis will be based on the second edition of the game?

The art style of PF2 seems to be different than PF1 and given they tend to base minis on artwork from the books, there is likely to be a shift there too. Hard to tell how significant that will be until there's enough PF2 artwork around to base a whole set off.
I think the OP was more saying "I know there's a lot of info to get into the blogs about the rules of PF2 but please don't forget the other things your blogs focus on" as well as asking for info about PF2 minis.

It's good to remember that the PF1 line is still in production (APs, Player Companions, minis, etc) until August 2019.
It's also good to remember that the blog is about the Playtest for PF2, not about PF2 itself.
Since the minis don't need to be "tested", it's not likely that they're going to use up blog wordage discussing them.
At the earliest, new minis for PF2 won't be released for more than a year, and I expect that staff will give us information about them in a timely manner. It's just that "timely" is a year away.

It's not like we can't use the PF1 tokens for PF2 unless things radically change in sizes over the playtest. Besides I just use whatever I can.
Seriously, I have an old game called Hero Quest that I yoink models/pieces from because I have nothing else.

Steve Geddes pretty much has it.
I am concerned that I have not seen a post on minis since May 7th, which is over two months. The tentative release date of Kingmaker is October, which is probably closer to three months than two, but no new minis have been shown on that set since April.
I was hoping for some information on when we can start seeing the preview of Kingmaker.
I was also curious as to how PF2 would impact the miniatures of future sets. Not just the specific looks of the minis, but will there be new iconic heros, new creatures, etc. And if so, when can we expect to see these being added into the new sets.
I am not concerned on whether I can use prior minis. I have a very nice set of DDMs and PFBs. I am simply hoping for some love for those of us that enjoy miniatures. I am interested in PF2 and I am definitely going to try the game, but I do feel left out on the miniature side of things as the Playtest has engulfed the blog.
I would truly appreciate a Paizo employee to comment or even PM me, even if is simply a date to expect blog posts.

My guess is that since they do about 4 minis per preview and there will be 45 minis that would be 11 weeks to preview. I would guess they start up again in the next few weeks. If they start too soon, the set gets previewed too far before the release date.

Kingmaker previews are going to pick up again in earnest very soon. We have gaps between sets, and we're in one of those right now.
We have at least two more sets beyond Kingmaker scheduled, with plans to discuss more at Gen Con in about 12 days. Those upcoming sets have ties to some second edition stuff, so you can expect to see some figures based on early 2e art with releases shortly following Kingmaker.

I love Hero Quest pieces! Those were the first miniatures I used when I started playing in high school. I still use the dungeon dressing pieces to this day! I even painted the elf and dwarf to match how my character and my best friend's characters looked in our first campaign.

Thank you, Erik. I will keep my eyes open.
