As an arachnophob I vote no.

Pathfinder: The Silver Age

Acutally I quite like that. If Paizo is going to be changing Goalarion in some specific way to commemorate 2nd edition then they could work that into a new name.

The Goblin Age: Pathfinder Second Edition.

Well not that but that format!

Ohh.. call it The Second Path.

Sorry for the bump but I'm going to putting all my brain farts in here as they happen!

I will play it even if they called it Robbers & Rodents. Or Adventures & Arcana. Or Treasure & Trials. Or Creatures & Caverns. I'm excited to try it out.

Pathfinder Gold/Silver/Crystal

We need a blue and red first! then yellow then we can move on to poke... pathfinder gold!

Red and Green. Blue is the third.

Not originally unless were talking the Japanese version.

You're talking with somebody who will tell you that the rat's outclassed by its own copies. When it's that or a starter that means something (e.g. best of its typing for over 20 years, best grass-type mega, arguably best poison type mega, best grass pledge user (thanks to a good HA)), of course I'm going to look at the original original trio.

I think we are a bit off topic but I was just referring to the american version. If you really want we can have a pathfinder red blue and green version only 4 classes in each book have to buy each color to have every class. What gets real confusing is the combat rules are divided similarly! (and yes bulba+evos is best pokemon)

I'm pretty sure that they're not going to remove the value of pathfinder's name in the world of tabletop games, also they'd have to pay for another trademark

This thread has gone into joke mode, but seriously, Paizo's brand expanded from "Pathfinder" to "-finder" with the release of Starfinder. Right now, they use Pathfinder for both their adventure path magazine and their medieval fantasy RPG and use Starfinder for their science fiction RPG.

Maybe Pathfinder 2nd Edition would be a good time to separate the adventure path magazine from the medieval fantasy RPG. We could have:

  • Swordfinder - medieval fantasy RPG, 2nd edition
  • Starfinder - science fiction RPG
  • Pathfinder: By the Sword - adventure path magazine for Swordfinder
  • Pathfinder: To the Stars - adventure path magazine for Starfinder

One day Paizo could release a detective RPG Cluefinder, a espionage RPG Spyfinder, a steampunk RPG Steamfinder, etc. I would have renamed the Pathfinder RPG to Dragonfinder, but that steps on the toes of another trademark.
