Mythic adventures and the Automatic Bonus Progression from Unchained are two systems that I've been wanting to try for a long time now and I'm going to be GMing a new campaign in a couple of weeks and want to try using both systems.
So what I want to know is if anyone here has tried using them together and what your experience was like or if anyone has any advice about running a game with those systems.

The only good thing I can say about Mythic is: It's pretty easy to prep for at high levels, because your NPCs will rarely ever get a chance to act. Of course, if they do get a chance to act, you are probably looking at a dead PC or two (assuming mythic NPCs, of course), so you are basically looking at faster rocket tag (Martial can get 'move and make a single attack as a swift action' as a baseline mythic ability, so you will be seeing 'pounce' attacks very quickly).
Also, if you want to hit Mythic 10, you're going to have to be pretty liberal with the definition of a 'Mythic Trial': A lot of the 'trials' in Wrath of the Righteous were pretty weak...

I'm likely not the best person to ask, since I've only played one session with both Mythic and ABP, but I think it could be fun.
Me and a brace of friends decided, in light of Pathfinder 2.0 coming soon, that it would be a pity if none of us ever reached that pinnacle of power, level 20 Gestalt Mythic. (Well, I'm pretty much always the DM, so I'll never hit that level.
We don't expect the game to hold together, really, and I've thrown the idea of CR out the window; I'll be looking at their character sheets and trying to invent things that can challenge them. That's the advice I'd give anyone looking to run a mythic adventure, based on what I've heard about Wrath of the Righteous. Don't expect the PCs to struggle against "appropriate" CR encounters, and don't hold yourself beholden to any rule even designing unique monsters except the rule of fun.
But I do plan to have them fight regular bestiary monsters, though, just so that they can appreciate how absurdly powerful they've become. At some point, I'll pit the two of them up against all the printed archdevils and demon lords. That's the fun of playing a mythic adventure!
