Liberty's Edge

Okay, writing sample, take-2. re-rolls reflex saving throw vs. the post-eating-site-beast.

3. After saving a man on the road from a group of kobolds he becomes slightly obsessed with you, and that lands him in trouble with the guards after the tavern owner calls the guard on him. How do you save your friend from some legal trouble, or do you wish to press charges

Writing:
An athletic but pretty Shoanti woman strolls down the road by the coast on her way to Sandpoint. It's a beautiful day and she's feeling perpetually contented, thumbs in the straps of her pack and whistling a tribal hymn of the Calphiak Mountains.

Just as she starts down a long, lazy decline she sees a human man coming down the next hill. Then, she sees something unexpected at the lowest point in the trail between them: a group of three kobolds milling about.

She and the man make brief eye contact, and unbeknownst to each either become afraid for the safety of the other. As he runs down from his side he begins yelling across to her. "Miss! Be careful! I'll take care of these creatures! Be not afraid!" He draws what looks like a little knife.

Meanwhile Yeda draws her greatsword from her back and a look of surprise comes across the man's face. The kobolds are by now surprised and looking back and forth at both approaching aggressors. As the human beholds her greatsword he trips over a tree-root just as he reaches the kobolds. The runts smile toothy grins as they point their crossbows at the prone man.

Yeda rolls her eyes and uses their distraction as an opportunity to run down the kobolds. Charge. Strike. Cleave. Dodge. Slash. In twelve seconds the kobolds are nothing more than greasy stains. She soon learns the man's name, Wendell. Although he was headed in the other direction he follows her home. He seems quite taken with her.

Later on at the hagfish... Wendell won't stop going on about how she's saved his life and he'd do anything for her. In short time he's fully loaded and calling out challenges to non-existent threats to Yeda and the proprietor calls on the sheriff to deal with him. However, when he arrive, Yeda gets an idea. "Wendell, if you really want to prove your worth to me, drink the hagfish grog and hold it!"

Needless to say, Norah the hagfish watches in delight as Wendell loads the grog, like ammunition, onto the ale mechanism in this stomach, with an immediate "launch" just seconds after he thinks he's done. With that he passes out and the sheriff hauls him off to a cell to sleep it off.

Liberty's Edge

Character sheet updated. All set!

Sorry guys something came up yesterday and I was on mobile away from home (No book)
I should be able to type something up tonight, but I need your guys' opinion: Should we go through the games or just hop right into the action (I'm inclined towards the action so we can get started, but whatever y'all want works for me)

Vote Action

I have crushed those games so many times im starting to feel like a shark in them, the action is fine with me too.

Liberty's Edge

Hmm, my last GM must've skipped them. Not familiar, fine with that decision.

Also not familiar with any games. Let's get to the action.

Is this still open? I am interested in hitting things really hard as a barbarian or monk.

Yes, you may make a character (One of our charaters may have opted out, and if not than 6 is not that bad)

If they do opt out we are in need of a healer, so a paladin might also be good (And extremely useful for this adventure)
