@ScegfOd
I really like your flavoring of Galtan constructs. We spoke on this at our last planning session, and we're pretty excited to see how your concept might grow or evolve when you see the city.
...
I'm glad you like it.
@both GMs: Feel free to use/adjust any of it. You are the GMs and therefore the ones expending extra effort, after all :3

The Lobster
GM Renard and I play Iron Gods as our home game, so Gorum sure comes up a lot. Since we mostly have interpretations of Kellids and their take on Gorum, we're interested in someone else's take.
If you would like, I could PM you some of my own personal takes and the way they will effect the character. Gorum is one of my favorite gods in the pantheon, and I've played with him as cornerstone to a few characters

I'm torn between wanting to not attract additional competition to join the first wave of PCs, and wanting to bump the thread xD
Also, I'd like to mention Myth-Weavers.
I haven't really used it yet, but my friend IRL told me that it'd be great for running a game that needs multiple threads.
I'm not 100% sure that it's even worth the trouble of checking out, but I thought I'd mention it here, mostly for our Glorious Leaders GLs GMs to consider/ignore.

About midway through in the process, GM Renard and I got a little too optimistic on our timeline. Today marks exactly 4 weeks since we started our thread, and I'm happy to report that we are close. Now that we're close to the end, our original projection of the 5 week seems to be pretty accurate. We had done some of the setting work done before we posted this thread. We really wanted to make sure people were interested in our game: both its setting, and its unique format, before pressing forward on something this ambitious. Thanks to you all posting here, it is clear we have more than enough applicants to draft some enthusiastic players for this game.
Now that the questions shifted from the game itself to more PC specific queries, I think our idea was to let this interest thread die, then address those questions when recruitment comes up. (no promises, but soon)
I answered a few questions by PM, the ones I left:
@Lobster Part of what we're interested is the different perspective. I think we'd rather see what your Gorumite looks like without our biases changing it first. We're looking forward to a LOT of discussions with players during recruitment.
@ScegfOd Did a little looking into Mythweavers, but it's probably not for us. We plan run here on the Paizo boards. If multi-threading becomes too big an issue, we may revisit.
If we missed someone's question(s), or you have another about the game, ask away. If your question is about your character(s), please bear with us just a bit longer.

Good question Decimus. I like your idea and see the merits of having sheets standardized, but we both come from table game background. A player's sheet is their own I think we want to preserve that. (personally I've seen many I like) We DO want to use submissions to rate the players ability to present character info to us the GMs. While it certainly won't be the biggest factor in our process, we think its fair to use as a metric.
We'll want taglines to contain a lot of basics, maybe some other relevant info. I think we leave this to the player too; we're happy to ask someone to add a stat that we believe we want to see if its missing.
As we are going to allow the submission of up to 2 characters, we are 100% ok with a player waiting to create an alias only if they are chosen. If you make one that is fine, but we won't hold anything against someone choosing to hold off.
