Arrow Eruption + Ricochet Shot? (or spells that function similarly to it)

Rules Questions

so recently I was perusing spells that would help my utility/support/construct crafter character dish out some ranged dmg with his bow. I found the spell Arrow Eruption and get how its supposed to work for the most part. Then I found the spell Ricochet Shot. If I cast Ricochet Shot first, fire my arrow, kill the creature, then cast Arrow Eruption. Would the arrows then bounce onto another creature? If so, how would it work? Would it bounce to 1 target I pick (if the arrows were in range)? Or just bounce to the nearest enemy I designate for each arrow? Or would it default to the nearest enemy and just bounce until it hit its limit?

What about spells that in general, buff the bow specifically then pass on buffs to the arrows you fire? Gravity Bow being an example. Should it be universally classified, or more case-by-case?

I like the potential this spell could have for games where you fight large hordes of enemies, but dont have 2-3 characters that can cast fireball all the live long day.

Just a couple of days ago I was wondering the same thing.

However, this spell cannot reproduce any spells or other limited-use magical effects that you used to enhance that particular attack. This includes such effects as the true strike spell, as well as any area spell you might have placed on the arrow by means of the arcane archer’s imbue arrow class feature.

Ricochet shot is one such effect.

When I was asking myself this question, it took the form of using quicken spell true strike for the second roll to get a plus 20 on the arrow eruption due to that single attack roll you have to make for it.
This wouldn't work with ricochet shot because it states that you imbue one arrow, not a spell.

Now here's another question. What happens when arrow eruption kills an enemy, can you then cast another arrow eruption?

Also, here's the thread I posted my original question.

I saw that post actually, and I suppose that Ricochet Shot wouldn't work, but what about Gravity Bow? Technically, you're using magic to increase the amount of force being applied to the arrow at launch. As if you were using a bigger bow to shot it, increasing the speed and force behind the arrow. So would something like that work? where there is technically no magic being applied to the arrow but only the bow? I think if nothing else Gravity Bow would work, just because of how it in particular functions.

Gravity Bow modifies all attacks for a duration and therefore is not affected by the "that particular attack" clause. I've also since come to the conclusion that the swift weapon enchantments from the Magus Arcane pool would apply.
