so recently I was perusing spells that would help my utility/support/construct crafter character dish out some ranged dmg with his bow. I found the spell Arrow Eruption and get how its supposed to work for the most part. Then I found the spell Ricochet Shot. If I cast Ricochet Shot first, fire my arrow, kill the creature, then cast Arrow Eruption. Would the arrows then bounce onto another creature? If so, how would it work? Would it bounce to 1 target I pick (if the arrows were in range)? Or just bounce to the nearest enemy I designate for each arrow? Or would it default to the nearest enemy and just bounce until it hit its limit? What about spells that in general, buff the bow specifically then pass on buffs to the arrows you fire? Gravity Bow being an example. Should it be universally classified, or more case-by-case? I like the potential this spell could have for games where you fight large hordes of enemies, but dont have 2-3 characters that can cast fireball all the live long day.
So just for kicks, I made a lvl 20 Fighter with Mythic Tier 3: Champion. Designed specifically to deal as much dmg as the game can potentially allow. While I was building him I came across Mythic Vital Strike and Mythic Power Attack feats. So while calculating his possible max dmg I realized he could deal over 1000 dmg if my math was right. He has a STR of 31 for a mod of +10 So a Mighty Sword that deals 2d8 dmg. Factor in Impact and this does 3d6. He can also use Righteous Might 1/PD, so increase that to 4d6.
Now for the base dmg bonuses.
Now for the kicker, say the sword has Foe-Biting. Now say you roll 16d6+624 dmg and get a 650. Multiply that by 2 and it comes out to 1,300 dmg. I have gone over this in my head a dozen times and looked up a dozen different threads on how all the mythic stuff works with each other. I'm pretty sure this is right, but I might be wrong. Any factual evidence to refute my math would be appreciated.
Me and a friend are Co-DM'ing a campaign and we have a special fight planned for the party if they put in the extra work. They will fight 2 lvl 20, Mythic Tier III characters. At that Tier you get Amazing Initiative which you can spend a mythic point to give yourself an extra standard action for that turn. Now as a Weapon Master Fighter, using those two standard actions could I combo Unstoppable Strike and Deadly Stroke (Combat), and use them simultaneously for a single attack?
I'm trying to purchase Genius Guide to the Dracomancer, when I get to the point to where I click place order. It instead redirects me back to the Payment Method tab. Friends who have used Paizo to purchase things haven't encountered this problem before, and searching all the forums resulted in little to help. I have triple checked my information and there is nothing incorrect.
I have an awakened owl as an ally and in the process of leveling him up I cam across Eldritch Claw which gives it a silver and magic type added to its natural attack. My question is, what exactly this 'magic' bonus is. Is it a normal +1 attack/dmg roll or is it something else. It isn't very specific about what it does. |
