Starship Combat example

In the Starship Combat example in the Core Rulebook, it states that the DC for the Engineer to divert power to the weapons system is 17. Shouldn't it be 12? In the Divert section it says the DC should be 10 + 2 x starship tier, and the players are flying a tier 1 ship. Am I missing something?

The values for all of those DCs have since been changed, so technically they are now both incorrect. There will likely be another printing of the CRB in the future that reflects these changes.

That aside, the example would have been in error anyway. You are correct that the DC should have been 12 with the rules as currently printed for a tier 1 ship. It was likely an error of mistakenly using the common - and now deprecated - 15+2*tier DC formula instead.
