Silver Crusade

Hey everyone,

I'm a little unsure about how this feature would work. The literal description is: 'Starting at 8th level, you can enter rage as a barbarian for a number of rounds per day equal to your cleric level'.

Supposing I am a cleric or sacred servant paladin with access to this domain, can I:

-Take the extra rage feat to get additional arounds of rage per day?
-Does the rage from this domain become more powerful at level 11 like the barbarian's rage?

Kind regards,
Trevor

Yes, you have a class feature called Rage that works like the Barbarian Rage feature. So you qualify for Extra Rage.

No, Greater Rage is a separate class feature that the Cleric Domain does not provide.

I concur with both of the above answers.

Thank you for the answers, both. If i could ask one more thing, i looked ahead at the level 12 feature of the subdomain, which grants you a rage power. The caveat of this is that you cannot select a rage power with a level requirement, but that your barbarian level otherwise counts as half your cleric level.

Would my character then become able to pick the extra rage power feat, and if i took it, would the rage power from the feat have special restrictions, or none other than the normal prequirements for the rage power?

Yes, you would qualify for the Extra Rage Power feat because you have the Rage Power class feature. You still couldn't select a rage power with a level requirement since you don't have a barbarian level, and the 1/2 cleric level as applied by the Rage domain does not apply to prerequisites.
