Wyrwoods and the shifter class

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I'm wondering if a wyrwood could become a shifter, more specifically an oozemorph? I don't have full knowledge of either this class or construct rules so I'm wondering if this is possible and how to resolve them being a construct and ooze at the same time.

Oozemorph doesn't change your creature type (although it does say that you also are treated as having the ooze type).

And as far as being an ooze and a construct at the same time, it's like being a human and an ooze at the same time.

There isn't any reason I can see why it doesn't work.

Yes...

Shadow Lodge

Why one would want to when better shapechanging options are available is beyond me. Just use the Ooze spells...

As it currently stands......Oozemorph is not really a playable character level 1-6..... unless you build very specifically (Kitsune + Realistic likeness)....even then there is little reason to continue with the class beyond 6th, so you will want to look at multiclass options beyond 6 levels.

With the addition of the new errata if you really want to play the party tank and don't care much for gear you could totally swing an oozemorph in the flavor of "move, full-attack" until level 6 where you finally can become humanoid long enough to actually tell your party who you are and what you're doing following them around on adventures.

Oozemorph that doesn't say a single word for 6 whole levels, only to say something either really insightful or extremely mundane as the first thing they ever say, after weeks of adventuring, sounds hysterical.

Learn drow sign language: It's a non-verbal language so you can sidestep the 'no speak' restriction.

cave druid is better

Most people agree there, but we're talking about the Oozemorph specifically here.

A cave druid that's feeble minded and has a dead companion...

I really need to learn more here.
