So long story short i'm looking to build a character that uses the bladed scarf. my idea so of wants to focus on disarming and tripping if possible.
i'm considering bladed scarf dancer magus, using true strike with combat manuevers. maybe some type of fighter or warpriest just due to I imagine how many feats this might need.
mostly looking for class picking advice or any nice feats that i should take.

Blade Lash is a good alternative to True Strike. Not as good a bonus, but the extended range is very nice when tripping. And using it with Spell Combat lets you make the trip attack in addition to your regular attacks.

odd, thought it could with hexcrafter at least. must have misread something.
Both Hexcrafter and Kapenia Dancer add options to the Magus Arcana list. According to the Archetype Stacking FAQ that counts as altering the Magus Arcana Class Feature. They also both alter the Spells Class Feature. Hexcrafter adds spells to your class list and Kapenia Dancer reduces your spells per day.

I run a Kapenia Dancer in PFS, and I can second using blade lash instead of truestrike. Pick up Wand Wielder Arcana. You can use spell combat, and since the trip attack from blade lash is granted as part of the spell you get that in addition the your regular attacks. +10 is plenty of bonus to trip most things, unless the have lots of legs. And there’s the reach factor. So you can trip from reach, 5-foot step up and attack the prone target. It’s great before you get Improved Trip, and the 20-foot range is useful later or if you need to trip from behind the frontliners.
A really nice part of the Archetype is that it doesn’t give up spell recall like Kensai or a lot of archetypes with Diminished Spellcasting.
The biggest issue I had was when things started to have flight. So make sure you have some decent direct damage options.
Unchained Rogue, as kalindlara suggested, would work well. It wasn’t available as an option when I started the character.
Something else I might have tried to work with if it had been around is the Tatterdemalion Witch Archetype. It’s tough to work into a Magus build, and I know you don’t want to multiclass. But it’s great thematically.
