They don't convert. Spell Points are a different resource than spell slots, and they're generally not meant to mix.
If you're a Spherecaster, you get spell points as described by your class (typically caster level + casting ability modifier + any bonuses, like feats or casting traditions). If you're a Vancian caster, you get spell slots.
The closest thing to an actual conversion comes in the Bokor prestige class, but that's balanced around its own expectations.

Spheres of Power's own internal rule set is why I find it really hard to mix with vancian magic, and thus why I unfortunately don't use it regardless of it's cool flavor.
I like the idea, but as a GM, I generally stick to the CRB when I make a BBEG which doesn't really work well with the idea of spell slots and things like dispel magic.

@Bard: What troubles have you been having, exactly? There is some built-in compatibility for spell effects and the like (for example, if you need to find a Core-style "Spell Level", you just divide the Spherecasting level by 2 and round down as needed), and it shouldn't be too hard to run both at a table.
