Two issues are manifesting today:
- I'm being randomly logged out when viewing threads. Not easily reproducible, but seems to happen when I visit a thread.
- I'm unable to edit a Gameplay post (posted within the last 5 minutes). Attempting to do so gets me redirected to http://paizo.com/posts#newPost (which works out to the home page).
These are in addition to the issue I posted Monday (now occurring for page 2).
Please let us know that you're working on these issues — they're seriously impacting the usability of the site.

Gary, any chance the fix will also address the missing Gameplay forum pages?
Alas... ah well, I live in hope.
Erik, thanks for the frequent replies to this thread. It helps a lot. :)

Is that happening right now, or was it happening earlier this morning? We just pushed a change that should have resolved a number of the issues that were being listed.
I just tried again to make sure. Whenever I choose a page other than 1 on my "favorited by others" tab it gives me the working/spinning animation directly above the "1-50 of 1218" for about 15-20 seconds and then reloads page 1 again.

I just tested this, and I am getting the same result on a mac using both Safari and Firefox. The delay is only a couple of seconds using Firefox, though.

Random logout.
securepaizo.com/paizo/messageboards (flattened)
does not display all messages. Usually I'll see five or six new messages that were posted within the last few minutes.
Now there is one from today, and two from yesterday as the top three results.
It seems to be picking up across forums (Starfinder, Recruitment, etc) but it's missing most of the posts in the display
Screenshots available if needed.

I see what part of my problem is:
The page is displaying all the (sticky) posts first, whether or not there is a recent comment.
So there's no way to see what the actual 'new comments" are unles you page through until the end of the list of 'sticky' threads
ETA
And the page navigation links at the bottom aren't working. When I click "2" the url changes to page 2, but the display page is still page 1 with all the stickies

Anything marked New was added after this post was originally made.
We think these bugs have been fixed
- Unable to page through results on user profile pages
- Some people having trouble viewing their campaigns page
Still in development/testing
- Reported problems with "x new" becoming out of date or not updating at all
- Website feedback forum occasionally redirecting to its parent forum
- Paging through flattened forums is not working properly, and the page you do get is full of sticky threads. New
- Unsticky preferences on My Downloads page New
- Last download dates incorrect on My Downloads page New
- Random logouts still occurring New

Still not able to use page number navigation bars at the top and bottom of the page to move off the first page.
Even when the url indicates that I'm on another page, the display only shows the first page.
on "messageboards" page:
https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/messageboards&page=2
for example
And that page is filled with old sticky threads until you get about 3/4 the way down the page

I saw an issue on the "My Downloads" page. I recently purchased 3 PDFs, looked at the "My Downloads" page, and sorted it by Date Added for convenience to download later.
This evening I went back to that page and found that the sort order had changed to "Group By Company". So I re-sorted that page and downloaded the PDFs with no issue. However, after downloading the three PDFs, I noticed that they still had "Last Downloaded" dates of "never".
So, I went away from that page, visited a couple of other pages, and then returned to the "My Downloads" page. Once there, I saw that the sort order had once again reverted to "Group By Company". So I sorted the list by "Date Added" twice again. (I had to do it twice because the first sort the Pathfinder Beta files at the top rather than at the bottom.) After doing that, I saw that my three most recent PDF purchases all still had "Last Downloaded" dates of "never".

I'm finding myself having to log back in every hour or so. It's pretty weird! I should see what's going on with the cookie next time it happens; I've been lazy.
Already checked it... looks like the expiration time is getting set correctly, so the server must be invalidating it early.

Looks like the new code performed as I expected, except for the part where the entire site decided to disable itself around midnight....
Today we'll be QA'ing the fixes completed yesterday, and working out fixes for the others. If we do push this code to production today, it would be later this afternoon Pacific time.

I see it now, that's a different paging through results bug. I'll add a note to my previous post. Thanks!
Gary or Dean, et al ... anything new on the strange iPhone message board display issues?

This is unrelated to the current site issues, and was not part of yesterday's code release. It's in the backlog of to-dos, but hasn't quite made it up the chain yet.
