Best place to find a GM for a game?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Long story short me and a friend of my are both looking to play pathfinder again after a good six months of not playing. We've never done pathfinder society games before, everything we've done has been homebrew stuff so we're not even sure what the rules are or how joining games in PFS works.

We wanted to do a game with just us and a DM since every game we play ends because of conflicting schedules and the two of us can play just about whenever since our work lets us take whatever day of the week we want off.

Any advice on where the best place for us to go would be? We've thought about the PFS board but everyone there seems to already know all the modules and we've never done PBP or anything like that we've always played either in person or on roll20 with skype or discord. We don't really care what we get into we just want to play again.

Do you have a local gaming store? Most of those have a board where you can post that you're looking for a GM, or you can look and see if there are any GMs looking for players.

Click on the Pathfinder Society logo on the upper left of the page. Once the page loads, click on Find a game. Scroll down until you see your region. Then click on the event you want to see details. Hope this helps.

See the problem is we both live in different states now which is why we started playing on roll20 it was the best we could do under the circumstances.

Is all the PFS stuff in person or on PBP?

Then, go to recruitment and look for a Society GM. Say that you have a table on Roll20 and need a GM.

I like the game store suggestion. Play games and like-minded individuals coalesce.
