Looking at the various Mystic connections, the Star Shaman feels really odd, as it is the only connection that don't have a pre-level 12 resolve class power.
The first use of resolve for the Star Shaman is at lv 12 and even then its limited, as it keys off the 2/day lv 6 power.
Is this an intended effect for this connection? Should/Could Star Shaman characters work with a lower Wisdom?

Off the top of my head, my answer is maybe. Although your typical Star Shaman may have a higher Dex than your average mystic (since Star Shaman gets Piloting as a class skill) and therefore a possibly lower Wis, Wis is still your casting stat and Dex was likely your secondary stat anyhow, so there may not be that much of a difference.
I haven't really looked yet at when resolve-based abilities before available for different classes; that would be an interesting analysis.

Making a Star Shaman, I do realize that I may want to reduce my Wis to make a more well rounded character.
May be rely on Weapons for damage? Instead of spells like mind thrust?
Every Mystic needs longarms proficiency for robots, undead, oozes, plants, aberrations that are immune to mind-affecting, and for when spell slots run out.

Honestly, that strikes me as a benefit. No traps of terrible resolve abilities for the unwary, so they can keep resolve for the stuff that matters.
