Theme: John Wick in Starfinder

So I was wondering which theme people might suggest for John Wick, specifically how pretty much everyone in the little world carved out by assassins knows of him and speaks of him fearfully.

I'm torn between Bounty Hunter and Icon, leaning toward Icon.

Bounty Hunter does what it says on the tin, and a fair job of it.

But Icon seems to be closer to the 'Celebrity' status that John Wick has?

Paired with a profession like Bounty Hunter, I thought Celebrity [6th] and Megacelebrity [12th] making it a pretty reasonable check even untrained to know who you are could serve as leverage or justification for an Intimidate check.

When sadistic mobster Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen) and his thugs steal John's prized car and kill the puppy that was a last gift from his wife, John unleashes the remorseless killing machine within and seeks vengeance. Meanwhile, Iosef's father (Michael Nyqvist) -- John's former colleague -- puts a huge bounty on John's head."

I think Outlaw could also work since there is a direct link to the skills that John might use and relates to criminal activity.

He was a famous Assassin but he was only famous in the underworld, where as an Icon is more likely recognized world wide or system wide by random shop keepers and home bodies. So while I think Icon could work fine it seems to far reaching for his level of infamy.

Now what class do you make him? Is he a Soldier an Operative? Maybe Multi Classed? He seems like a gun wielding martial artists, with a very large amount of Stamina at least from the movies.

Liberty's Edge

John Wick's hand-to-hand skills are mediocre as compared to his gun skills (he kills some people with them, but can kill like ten people with guns in the time it takes him to have one unarmed fight) and in the first movie he never uses a rifle, using pistols instead and almost exclusively (with an occasional knife if I recall correctly).

He's an Operative (probably a Ghost) with decent Str and maybe Improved Unarmed Strike.

In terms of Theme, I could definitely see Icon, though Outlaw is also appropriate. Bounty Hunter seems very wrong, at least to me.

Grand Lodge

Having watched the second movie Id say he's a Solider, almost certainly an Outlaw with how many connections he's got in the underworld.

I'd say Solider (Sharpshooter) to emulate his crazy aim, plus gaining the weapon specialization with all the guns and the Bullet Barrage Gear Boost to show how crazy lethal he is with guns.

Operative just isn't killy enough for how good damn crazy John Wick is at his job.

Operative gets more attacks than a soldier.
most of the people he kills are low level so he needs high attacks per round rather than outright damage.

He does use longarms/sniper rifles in the first movie. He uses a bullpup shotgun, an assault rifle, and sniper rifle. So, he is more of a Soldier (sharpshooter) with skill synergy with stealth and slight of hand.

Sounds like most of these suggestions are good ways to go, based on what I recall from the movies. Also, don't forget that multi classing could be a totally viable option.

Shadow Lodge

John Wick?
You put good skill ranks in Profession (Writer) and come up with a great setting, but then you let the publishers mess it up. Then 15 years later you buy the rights back from the publishers and re-make it and publish it yourself.
And have an impressive beard.
Envoy Icon probably.
