It(2017)

Movies

I finally say the It remake yesterday and I really enjoyed it.

Who else has seen it and what did you think?

It was good! and updating it to the 80's was a pretty great move. The original IT was pretty nostalgic towards late 50's/early 60's, at a time where folks who grew up then were in their late 30s and early 40s. That age group now pretty much grew up in the 80's.

Yeah I also like that the movie takes place in the 80' as well.

This movie felt just like a rip off of Stranger Things... ;)

It was a great horror movie...though sometimes I felt the real people were a lot more scarier than It was.

Well it is hard to compete with Tim Curry's version of It.

It felt more like Stand By Me + Nightmare on Elm Street + a little bit of the Goonies;)

I'm a little miffed this wasn't in the 70s...but eh.

Brilliant. And I never see horror films otherwise.

You know one of the Stranger Things kids is also in IT?

According to an analysis I read, IT depicted the 80s better, such things as the kids wearing T-shirts without ironic phrases and stuff, which began in the nineties.
