Nope. Now 1 Handed weapons used 2 Handed... different story. well except for light weapons they do not do 1.5 str.

Well, yes and no.

By default, no. Two-handed weapons only add your strength bonus to their damage, not 1.5 * your strength.

However, if you are a solider and pick up the Melee Striker gear boost (a class feature that you can get as early as level 3), you can add 1.5 * your strength bonus to all melee attacks. But that also includes attacks made with one-handed weapons.
