Spheres of Power Gestalts-Any Broken / OP Combos?

Advice

I'm replacing Vanican Magic with Spheres of Power for a campaign of mine, and decided to do gestalt.

I'm also converting classes to use the system, using the "Sphere" archetypes where they are available.

Are there any combinations that I should look out for/ban?

Probably not, no. Spheres of Power went away from the power Vancian has.

I noticed the Int-based AC Bonus of the Symbiat and the Wis-based AC Bonus of either Monk class could be problematic. I suppose the non-spellcasting abilities of the classes would be the most likely to be troubling.

The need for several attributes(Con, Dex, Wis, and Int, maybe Str) will likely stop the Monk/Symbiant from getting too wild with AC.

Liberty's Edge

Thaumaturge//elementalist can dish damage, especially with a sorcerer dip. Probably wouldnt allow the sorcerer dip in that. Not an overabundance of talents though. Spiritualist hedgewitch is a perfect gestalt for everything. Eliciter//thaumaturge would have insane DCs.

Most anything can become unbalanced if you set out to make it that way. If you avoid things like supercharging your save DCs or damage amount, though, you should be fine. ^^ There's a lot of built-in limitations that make it so you usually can't stack things too far anyway.

If you want an extra limitation, you can tell people that their Spheres have to be separated by class. So if somebody's a Shifter/Incanter, for example, their Shifter talents use their attribute and save DC's there, and their Incanter Talents get the full CL progression - but they can't be mixed. (So you couldn't learn Alteration Talents as an Incanter)
