Automatic Bonus Progression and Class Features that grant magic weapon qualities.

Advice

If you use ABP, what happens to class features that go "you may grant this weapon a +1 bonus", temporary or not? (I suppose a similar question exists using those bonuses on +1 or higher magic weapons.)

I kind of suspect the answer is "they stack", but I want to be sure there isn't something I've missed.

I'd rule they stack. It makes sense and doesn't mess things up.

Liberty's Edge

Is there a specific ability you're wondering about? Because the general rule is that like bonuses don't stack, unless something says they stack. Take the magus' arcane pool ability to add an enhancement bonus. It mentions right in the ability that it stacks with existing enhancement bonuses.

This does mean that spells like magic weapon and magic vestment aren't quite as useful using the ABP rules, but I don't know too many characters using those spells to begin with.

I checked, and one ability I was worried about says it stacks, but another (from a different source) doesn't.

However both times the +1 enchantment bonuses can be traded for special magic weapon qualities (bursts, keen, etc). In that case (i.e. trading a +1 for e.g. keen) does it count for the purposes of not stacking (i.e. you now have a +1 keen sword rather than a +2 sword)?
