I had replied to my order spawn email over the weekend asking that my companion be moved to my sidecart so it can ship with my much larger August order. I just got the shipment email in the mail today. I basically don't want to pay more in shipping that the book costs.

We answer emails in the order they are received, and are closed on weekends and holidays. This means an email sent over the weekend won't get seen until Monday or Tuesday as we catch up on the emails from Friday evening and the weekend.

When the warehouse started shipping out subscription orders earlier today yours was in the first batch they printed the shipping labels for. The shipping email you received is when it is finalized for shipping and we can no longer make any changes to the order. I can no longer stop it.

You have your shipping method set to UPS Ground, which can be expensive for single items. Standard Post would have been quite a bit cheaper, but our system does it's best to make sure it uses the shipping method you set. If you switch it to 'Cheapest' it will use the cheapest method it can to ship an order. However this means it will often use USPS so if you prefer not to use USPS this would not be a good option.
