Advice

Hey there, I'm running a kensai with 3 lvls in master of many styles and I was thinking about dimensional dervish. So the question now is how do I use dimension door more often without flubbing up my spellstrike? Is it possible or a waste of feats?

The feat chain itself is fantastic on most magi, the kensai loses out because it loses spell recall.

Are you using the unchained monk? Is there a way (maybe prestige class?) to get the levels to stack to get Abundant Step?

Another option, albeit a more resource intensive one, would have you take the feats Heighten Spell and Preferred Spell (Dimension Door), that way you can cast it spontaneously with any of your level 4+ slots without having to prepare it at all.

Yeah, its unchained. I just think it would be awesome to use dimensional dervish with spellstrike, and what not

One of the most fun magi I ever played used it, with Preferred Spell (Shocking Grasp and Dimension Door).

It enabled many fun turns for me.

Preferred spell looks like it would work...is there a way to ditch the prereq? Feets are tight

Also I need it to be either a swift or free action

Dimensional Dervish covers that.
