Scenario Details from GenCon Catalog:

Title:
Starfinder Society: #1-00: Claim to Salvation

Short Description:
Reeling from a recent tragedy, the Starfinder Society sends an expedition to the false moon of Salvation's End. Seek fame & fortune in this inaugural special event! Level 4.

Long Description:
**4th level characters provided.** A Starfinder Society Scenario Special designed for 4th-level pregenerated characters. Following the disastrous Scoured Stars Incident, the Starfinder Society fights to remain relevant as the rest of the galaxy moves on. With surviving agents stretched to the limit, the First Seeker launches a desperate bid to search the false moon of Salvation’s End. Will the mission reveal a discovery that can stabilize the Society long enough for a new generation of Starfinders to come to the fore? To answer this question, the players play as 4th-level versions of the Starfinder iconic characters in the debut special event of the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild. Written by Larry Wilhelm.

So does anyone know yet whether this table can be played by itself, or if it has a minimum table limit? I am assuming that it is an exclusive like Maelstrom Rift, but I wanted to double check.

Hmm

I thought I read the same.

Thursty's said in a few places that there is no requirements to running/playing it after gencon. They want as many to play it as they can. Same with the other scenarios. Not sure about the quests at this time though I assume they'll be releasing them too.

Starfinder Society Scenario #1–00: Claim to Salvation is a single-table experience (no table limit), not a multi-table interactive. You can play it anywhere once it's released.

Excellent. It is a special that can be run by anyone with any number of stars / moons / planets? And anywhere?

Thanks. That will help me in my scheduling for PbP Gameday VI.

Hmm

Considering no one will have enough tables to be even 1 star/planet/whatever I don't think there will be any requirements.

That is indeed my assumption.

:)

Hmm

Will it be an evergreen?

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/55/55/5 ***** Venture-Agent, Minnesota

My guess is no. However the other new releases are all Evergreens. We have three low level adventures and a quest series.

Hmm

Is there going to be a new star/moon/planet GM rating? I assumed it would use your current rating since it uses your current organized play number with a differently numbered dash at the end.

Hmm

Not quite. We have a set of quests, three scenarios (#1–01, 1–02, and #1–03), and one pregenerated character special (#1–00). Thus far, we have noted that #1–01 is an evergreen replayable adventure, and I believe we have stated that the quests are a replayable package. However, I don't know of any place that we have stated that –02 and –03 are replayable for credit.

Hmm

You won't need any moons. But you may need a giant space station that looks like a moon, and is capable of blowing up a planet.

caveat:
I have no idea what I am talking about, please no one take this seriously.

Thanks for the clarification, John. I thought that you guys stated that you were trying to make as many as possible replayable when we were in the Organized Play Q&A panel. I must have gotten that incorrect in my notes...

Oh well. When one is typing notes fast, one is bound to make mistakes! I stand corrected.

Hmm

Quick question regarding this scenario - where do I find the L4 pregens?
I'd kinda hoped that they'd be included with the scenario, since I can't seem to locate them on the Paizo site. Perhaps my search-fu is just weak.

Here they are

Starfinder PreGens

But it's not your search fu. The site doesn't seem to have indexed recent weeks' posts. I only found these by visually searching the post titles in the Starfinder forum.

searching for "pregens" doesn't return anything after Aug 2.
