Enlarge Spells and the Giant Subtype

Advice

Hello, all!

I am working on a Dwarven alchemist, and I like the idea of the Enlarge Person formula as a defensive spell against DEX-based enemies. I know that Dwarves get +4 to AC against creatures of the "giant" subtype as well. My question is does the Enlarge Person spell give the subject the "Giant Subtype," or just a larger size?

If it did, that would be pretty sweet, granting the Alchemist an AC bonus as well as debuffing the enemy. Input?

Enlarge Person does not change subtype.

For that matter, even the Giantform spells do not change subtype.

Scarab Sages

Polymorph effects don't change the subjects creature type or subtype. You still count as your normal type for any racial, class, spell, or other ability.

Can't use it with the dwarven racial. You can use it with all of the class features that give smaller creatures bonuses over larger creatures
