got a weird idea for a druid's companion, thoughts / improvements?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

is there anyway to implant a plant into your body. feat wise. or would this thing only be a RP thing you would have to work out with your gm?

If you're GM is willing to let you reskin a tumor familiar as something else, like maybe lichen or moss growing on your body you could maybe make that work.

You would need the tumor aberrant tumor feat. Which would require a dip in bloodrager or sorcerer or picking up the eldritch heritage feat.

So, it's possible to do but requires a lot of feats and ultimate isn't great.

If you really want it to be an animal companion instead of a familiar, I'm not sure it's possible.

i was thinking more like a parasitic plant companion for a druid.

If you want a plant i think there is a treesinger druid archetype for elves.

You can be a tree singer as previously noted but can't implant it in your body as far as I can see. You can do it with a familiar. A synergist witch can take a petrifern familiar and merge with it. It's not very good mind you but you can do it. Though I guess it puts you in telepathic contact with a creature with blindsight that shares your square so it could be worse.

as far as parasitic plants go, there are the seeded, but I don't think you can use that as a druid's companion. there are some small companion plants which could be reskinned as parasites.

Some kind of lichen symbiosis might be interesting. Having an effect like that Eidolon armor symbiote could work.
